We liked the place close to the center and close to the beach

We didn't like the locking of the door of the room, we also didn't like the offer of the food

The property is new and clean. It’s a 5 minute walk to the beach.

2 things that I need to mention. First, it’s on a busy road. Busses and big trucks will be roaring down it honking from about 7am to 7pm. If I didn’t have earplugs I’d probably change hotels. Second issue which really kind of soured my time there was that when extending our stay I negotiated and confirmed a price with the staff. Upon checkout he then decided that he did not want to honor that and instead asked for more. I had to sit there and argue over this while I was given excuses and made to feel like I was inconveniencing them and being unreasonable. It’s a pretty awful way to do business. It’s a hotel. Not a tuktuk. After back and forth with the owner on the phone they reluctantly gave me the price they agreed to originally. I then tipped him like $6 or $7 and was just stared at with no response. Maybe it’s all some part of the culture I don’t fully understand but regardless, I’d not book here again because of this. There are other small issues with power outages daily (and no generator) that unless it’s priced accordingly it’s not worth it.
