Mi Playa Galapagos Beachfront Apartments

This apartment has an extreme nice view right on the beach and very central. The place is luxury with two spacious bedrooms and bathrooms at the upper floor and a big kitchen/livingroom and a bathroom at the groundfloor. The big windows make a super view over the ocean and sunset or you can sit outside at the big terrace in the sun. We stayed for 3 weeks and just loved our stay. They serve a nice bufet breakfast in the room at the time you decide. The lady who fixed breakfast and cleaned the house was very nice and flexible and the manager with staff was very helpful with everything we needed. They also helped us solve a personal issue for which we were very grateful. We couldn’t be more happy with our stay! Really recommend this place.

Nothing negative to add.

The location and view are perfect, and exactly what we needed for a little relaxation after a marathon of trips and activities. We splurged for a place that had a lot of more space we actually needed: a two-level apartment with a bathroom, fully equipped kitchen and common area on the first floor, and two suites (both with a terrace) on the second. The place was immaculately clean and very comfortable. It's also sound proofed (not that it needed because it was not in a noisy area, but I was impressed by the efficient as it cut down the ocean sound to a faint murmur). There were a few hiccups that brought my overall review a bit down but I would stay here if I were to visit Isabela again.

Just three things that refrained me to give it a perfect score: 1. We arrived in the morning ferry and we had communicated with the property beforehand. They told us we could check in early which was super nice. However, once we got there we had to wait two hours for the property manager, Juan, to show up with info and keys. Luckily, the person doing the apartment cleaning was there and let us in, but I had to stay put until we could get the key and we needed to go to a travel agency to arrange a tour ASAP. Juan was extremely (and sincerely) apologetic and explained he manages another properly and it was a really busy morning. 2. They really need to change the door lock. It was a pain to use. Even Juan struggled with it when he was showing me how to use it. At this point people have forced that door so much to make it work that it's a bit out of frame. My husband was able to lock and unlock it a few times but on our second day we actually got locked outside and had to call Juan for help. He came super fast though. 3. Finally, the water heater was not working and we had to take cold showers on the first day. Juan once again came super fast and checked but couldn't make it work right away. We then discover the water was heating in the first-floor bathroom, just not in the suites. He told us they would replace it the next day, but on the next day it was working just fine. No rime or reason for the previous failure.

The view is incredible!!! waking up to see the sea right next to you is incredible !! the people working there are absolutely fabulous, they help you a lot and they are very responsive . this place is paradise in paradise , it has everything you need and more .

The location was excellent, the apartment clean and spacious and the management did everything to make our stay more enjoyable

Big duplex apartment on the beach with great sea views from the lower living room and upper bedrooms.

The breakfast is not warm but you can put on stove or in the oven.
