*View was amazing - had a lovely patio to enjoy it from. *We were given a nice treat upon arrival in our room. *Staff was wonderful - very helpful & accommodating. *Our room & bathroom were very roomy, comfortable & clean. *It was in a pretty quiet location, even thought the top floor was a bar. Not a rowdy one, just kind of a small neighborhood bar with a lovely view and terrace. Actually very convenient to purchase a bottle of wine and enjoy on our room patio. Bar also had a little store with snacks you could purchase as well. *The bar staff are also connected to the B&B. When we had trouble with some outlets in our room the first evening and the guest office was closed, I contacted them through What's App and the young man running the bar attended to us immediately & got the breaker back on. They were also great help in getting a lost phone returned to our room. *Breakfast room had a lovely view and a nice spread of food. *Bus stop to central Positano is across the street, and staff was very helpful in explaining the system and what bus to take. *Although it's on a main road we didn't hear much traffic noise.

*Considering the size of the bathroom, the shower was pretty small & a little dated. Clean & functional, though. *I felt the 25 euros/person for the breakfast was pricey, although the food selection was very nice. We did not do the room rate including breakfast because weren't there every morning during breakfast hours, so that might be a less expensive deal. *Although the area is pretty quiet, walls are pretty thin so we were woken up by other guests in their rooms coming in late at night. These are not necessarily negatives, but just things to be aware of: *Make sure to check office hours for check-in & bag delivery on the lift. We had a plane flight and long car ride, so were a bit nervous about arriving during the designated hours. They'll make arrangements, but it may cost you more. *Lots of stairs to the room, and no elevator. This wasn't a problem for us, and we're in our 60s. Bags are delivered to your rooms by a mechanical lift during office hours. Otherwise, I think you're on your own. *Location - it's quite a long walk uphill from the central part of Positano. We quickly learned the bus route and used that with no problems. Never actually made the walk. Bus took about 20 min to get to central Positano.

I think we had the smallest room type in the place and still we had our own balcony with a gorgeous seaview. The walk up or down the hill was quite long but once we learned to use the bus our life got easier :)

I enjoyed being further up the hill. The views from the balcony were spectacular. Very friendly staff. I would stay here again.

YOU should not stay anywhere else! People....awesome! Best view in the city. Private balcony. Convenience store on property with everything you need, including bus tickets. Location....you should stay here for this reason alone, here is why: The hotel IS THE BUS STOP! In a town where transportation is maybe as tough as anyplace you will ever visit...this place is SIMPLE. The is a bus stops every few minutes taking you either into town or to another nearby town (do not miss going to Franchinos in Priano or visiting Ravello). You have to have a plan in Positano....staying here will help you a lot. Extra advise: Ferry in and out, the luggage porters will carry your bags to or from hotel for $10 euros ...its a BARGAIN. *When hubby left his phone in a cab, the young man who worked there met the taxi driver halfway to Naples and picked it up....and barely would take a tip. BEST hotel experience of our 16 day/6 city trip. Can't go wrong.
