BREAKFAST IS NOT INCLUDED IN TARIFF WHICH MAY BE A GOOD THING AS YOU CAN ENJOY THE FABULOUS FOOD CHURNED OUT BY THE EXCELLENT TEAM OF CHEFS HEADED BY MASTER CHEF ABDUL KARIM, AN EXPERIENCED CHEF. THE HOTEL GARDEN AND VIEW AROUND THE HOTEL IS AMAZING. THE ROOMS ARE SMALL, BUT PROBABLY KEEP YOU SNUG. HOUSEKEEPING WAS RESPONSIVE AND ATTENTIVE. THE BATHROOM WAS A PLEASURE TO USE !!!! YOU CAN WALK EASILY TO THE GLACIER SO DON'T GET CONNED BY HORSE GUIDES. TAXIS ARE AN ISSUE, THEY OVERCHARGE. A VISIT TO DRASS, KARGIL WAR MEMORIAL IS A MUST. TREK TO THE LOVELY LAKES. LOCATION IS WELL AWAY FROM THE MARKET AND MAIN ROAD, A SLIGHTLY LONG WALK IF YOU NEED TO GET TO THE TAXI STAND OR MARKET. THOUGH, GENERALLY THER ARE SOME TAXIS OR HORSES AROUND IF YOU GET LAZY.

IT WOULD HAVE BEEN GOOD TO HAVE A CUPBOARD IN THE ROOM SO YOU COULD UNPACK AND KEEP YOUR STUFF ORGANISED.

Rooms and view are just amazing. But overall quite expensive for 14000 a room per day. Way to hotel is off road for 500 meters

This exceptional hotel is situated in the picturesque location of Sonamarg, offering breathtaking views of the mountains and valleys. The property itself is reminiscent of a Bollywood shooting destination, often attracting numerous celebrities. During our visit, there was talk of Shah Rukh Khan filming in the vicinity for his upcoming movie. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the stay, savoring both the delightful accommodations and the delectable food. I had the opportunity to capture numerous stunning shots with my DSLR camera. Overall, it was a highly enjoyable and memorable experience.

The room was great, with the only minor inconvenience being the absence of a chair and table for working on my laptop. However, apart from this small issue, I had no other complaints about my stay.

8am calls for breakfast. Leaking toilet.

Everything was amazing, and really up to the expected standards expected. We went a bit late, and was checked in with no hassles, and was provided an amazing room with a great view. Had dinner(paid) and breakfast(included in our package) at the restaurant. No complaints, the food was tasty and the service provided by the stewards Tanveer and Ashraf was out of this world! Both of them ensureed we had no complaints and all our cullinary needs were taken care of. The brekky was exceptionally varied. Overall had a great stay and was allowed a little bit of extra time for check-out, thank you.

P.S.: Only minor thing to note was that I noticed 2 water bottles were placed at our room upon check-in, and the final bill had prices for both noted. Would have expected at least the water bottles placed in the room to be complimentary, from a hotel of this stature. Wasn't breaking the bank anyways, but just something to possibly note for future reference.
