Hotel Oasis

Not a lot, other than location close to Nakki Lake.

There was no hot water on cold Mt. Abu February mornings. After repeated complaints, staff brought a bucket of warm water half hour later, but my wife was stuck shivering in the shower with hair dye in the meanwhile. Also, property is quite shabby, and the website pictures are misleading. Esp. the bathroom is unappealing. Access to the property is through stairs or walkway littered with garbage. The staff does not wake up until 8 am. Bathroom gets all wet when taking shower because drainage is located well away from the shower. In off-season, online prices on websites like booking are twice as much as walk in, and there are plenty of vacancies. The owner refused to match walk in prices offered to other people who walked in, because we booked online. Lots of rooms were empty. In off-season, just go check out many other nearby hotels in person. Lots of availability.

The room and bathroom were very clean with a clean bottom sheet, though it did have some cigarette burns in it and a comfortable bed. The room looked as though it had been recently painted. There was a small fridge. Good vegetarian food was available

The quilt cover was not that clean and I'm sure it hadn't been changed for me. I had to ask for hot water in the evening and it had run out in the morning. The room was intensely cold with no means of heating

The overall experience of my stay at the hotel was very good. the support staff was very good, they were polite, prompt and always willing to help. The food made at the restaurant was good and promptly served. The hotel provided room service. The room size was spacious and comfortable. The bathrooms were clean and the rooms were cleaned daily. I would have liked to have hot water service to start at 6am instead of 7am since our family is early riser. They do provide hot water whenever you like with the help of bucket but regular service starts at 7am. Secondly since the management maintains cleanliness of the rooms and the property they should inform the cleaning personnel to clean the trash from the waste paper basket daily, to maintain overall cleanliness. The trash though not much was not cleaned when we checked in, and even during our stay for our entire stay of 3 days.

So much high priced for a place which is too bad to stay - approach to hotel is worst, car parking is unsafe, room was smelly, too little space - one of the worst place we have lived in 50+ hotels over the years - ideally they should refund 2000 inr or more, just keeping max 2000 inr for such a bad place to stay.

Almost nothing except the location

Almost everything was bad. There was no supply of hot water by the end of December! The food served was stale and stinking. The blanket sheets were stinking. The entire room was smelly and the hotel manager duped us with promising a car to Jaisalmer without listening to our needs. We had to undergo a lot of last minute harassments. I am usually wary of writing negative reviews but this was unapologetically bad!
