Hotel Idania

Lovely hotel with friendly staff. We booked via Tui and I did reserve a room without Air Con (my fault) Lasted out for 3 days in the searing July heat with just an ceiling fan before paying the upgrade which was such a relief. Shame though as our original room have a lovely view of the church and a glimpse of the lake in the distance. Location wise this hotel is spot on. There is a supermarket 10 minutes walk away. The nearest restaurants are only a few minutes walk and in 10-15 minutes you are in the thick of it near the lake. Breakfast was amazing - plenty of choice and everything stocked up no matter what time you arrive. We only sat by the pool for a couple of hours but it seemed very nice and there were plenty of parasols if you require shade. Only slight downside is that the coaches do not stop outside hotel any more due to local restricitons (July 2024) You need to make the 5 minute walk to the bus station which could cause a problem for some. Loved out first visit to Bardonlino and I wouldn't hesitate to return to this hotel!

Hello all we stayed in hotel Indiana for a week room 119) beautiful room only frustrating thing toilet to close to sink ? U go toilet and your arms are touching it ? Very iffy design...... anyway apart from that beautiful hotel especially Monica on the bar gave good measure when ordering drinks ... lovely staff beautiful pool loads of sun beds ...never been to Italy before (lee) my wife has (Rachel)..all over..fell in love with Italy can't wait to return...went on a few tours to sirmione limone malcesse lazize Verona Romeo and Juliet s balcony stunning fantastic holiday and really hot thanks Indiana. Booked this hotel some 10 months before we arrived. On checking in we were disappointed to find that our two rooms were not together and at opposite ends of the hotel. However not the end of the world. Check in was pleasant , speedy and helpful. I was in room 220 with a balcony overlooking the rear of the hotel. Compact to say the least and having stayed in hotels in Italy before we were not surprised at the "old fashioned" feel of the place. As always though there was plenty space to store everything. The main things missing were sockets, for my hairdryer, a fridge and kettle. Nowadays a fridge for water, juice and wine/beer is a must. Especially when a request for ice cubes is denied when you haven't bought a drink from the bar. We went to the local Spar, bought bags of ice , bottles of water and local wine and stored these in a bag in the bidet. However owing to the fact the ice didn't last more than a day we couldn't "bulk buy". The hotel is nipping clean, with plenty of hot water and clean fluffy towels. Breakfast buffet is amazing with fresh everything every morning. Big shout out to the bakery that makes their spinach and ricotta pie for breakfast. Absolutely divine. Location of the hotel is fab. You are dropped off at the nearby bus station by Tui with a short walk to the hotel. It's just a few minutes walk into Bardolino centre and a short walk along the road to the Spar supermarket. Pool area lovely , however it was very cool when we were there mid September so we only got to lie around the pool for two half days. Very disappointing after having been at the same time two years ago and the weather was red hot. Safe was free. Bardolino is gorgeous and the staff at the hotel are friendly and informative. All in all a great time.

The main bar area could just have coffee and croissants for breakfast up there with the view of the pool, other than downstairs not a criticism just an idea x

Loved this hotel and would stay there again. Bedroom was comfortable and balcony was large. Room was cleaned to a very high standard and fresh towels every day if needed. The public areas of the hotel were spotless and the grounds were beautiful. There were lots of open space to sit. The pool area was well looked after and always managed to get a sun bed. Staff were amazing and dedicated to making your stay as comfortable as possible. They were very helpful with information for travelling around. The hotel is just a short five minute walk from the town and there are plenty of restaurants and shops. Easy walk down to the lake front in order to catch ferries around the lake. Would stay here again.

We stayed here for one week and really enjoyed our stay. We received a very warm welcome and check in was quick and easy. Our room was very good and was cleaned to a good standard daily. The breakfast was good but a few more hot options would improve it in my opinion. The pool area was also OK and we always found a bed when needed. The location is excellent with the town only a 5 minute walk away and the nearest restaurant even closer. We really enjoyed our stay in Bardalino and would definitely use this hotel when we return.

Excellent hotel 5 minutes walk from Bardolino centre. Only 3 minutes from main bus station. Hotel is very clean in all areas. Staff have been exceptionally good, from the man who cleans the pool to the management team. Room cleaned every day. The reception team are very knowledgeable and helpful when dealing with requests and the bar staff go about their work very diligently. Pool area is adequate and although busy at times, we have never struggled to find a sun bed. Overall, an excellent hotel which I personally would stay again.

We Had A Lovely Two Week Stay at The Hotel Idania, wonderful Staff, Especially those on the Front Desk, Wonderful Breakfast, Excellent Choices, Very Clean Rooms , Would Definitely Recommend, and stay here Again Family Run Which is lovely to see .
