the pool area and the views

The location cause it was far from everything, and the taxis are so expensive. The room service and the table charges when you eat at the restaurant. and i had to tell them to prepare me the gluten free breakfast every morning,altough i let them know before and i was written on the list 🤦🏻‍♀️. but still they gave me things that were not gluten free and i had to tell them.

Rooms on the small side and minimalist, little to no storage in the bathroom

Amazing view, nice and quiet get away. Staff were so helpful in every way especially organising transport where ever we wanted to go especially as we didn’t speak Italian. Restaurant food and breakfast was also nice. The rooms were simplistic but very clean and bathroom was cleaned daily.

Is a little out of the way about 20 mins to the nearest town (Trapani and Erice) so requires a taxis or car to get around (the hotel can arrange them for you)

Clean, beautiful surroundings beds are Comfortable. Lovely pool area. Always got a sun bed. Staff always helpful and polite. Even though it was full it didn’t feel overly busy which was nice.

Perhaps needed one more staff member at the bar. bit more attention to breakfast provided. Warm Eggs would be better. Sometimes the cheese, ham or eggs looked Reheated or from day before. Couldn’t fault the Pastries coffee, yogurts and bread. Complimentary water would have been a nice touch and maybe coffee/ tea in room. Have to pay to use the spa area even if it’s just for the jacuzzi you have to pay. For a 4 star hotel it lets it down. So my kids who picked the hotel couldn’t use it even though they are 14 and 16. So ashame. Didn’t see that get mentioned beforehand. Should highlight it adult only spa area.

Location, availability of the parking

Breakfast is clearly their weakest point, no much quality or variety and 1 of the days most of the tables were dirty and most of the plates with food were empty too because they couldn’t keep it up with cleaning and serving, it was only around 9:00. A suggestion, offer at least a couple of waters complimentary, refurbish the old bathrooms, something to hang towels in the balcony and a little table to drink something there would improve your welcoming; one detail last: Steps to go to most of the rooms and no help for luggage, there was an elevator and still the receptionist brought us up the steps with heavy luggage. Restaurant for dinner is only average but there are many choices in town and close by

Like the swimming pool

Poor breakfast, not many choices, the food was not fresh at all, same menu everyday, eggs were cooked very bad. Waiting for 20 min to get the coffee one day, and I asked the guy 3 times.

The structure is nicely located on a hill with amazing views of the coast and the sea. So this is a good option if you are travelling in the area and care about views. By car you can reach easily the coast, Trapani, Erice and major roads/towns in the area. The staff was very nice and polite. The pool area was also nice and relaxing. The breakfast was good with adequate options of sweet and savoury. The room was a decent size. Parking was easy and there is a popular restaurant in the evenings. The hotel is situated in a nice and a bit isolated hilly area which is good to relax if you like hotels with this kind of vibe.

Our room (conscious it was the cheapest one) was very basic and somehow outdated in decor and style. Two members of our party had selected a more expensive room with the view but still a bit outdated in decor. As this is a 4 star structure it definitely needs a bit of uplift/upgrade of the rooms (the facilities are nice and well manicured). There was a jacuzzi overlooking the nice view which was unfortunately not accessible as part of pool access (you could only access the jacuzzi as part of a spa treatment package we were told so we did not use it. This was a disappointment as most 4/5 hotels with a jacuzzi let you access it regardless of selecting a spa treatment). The sun-beds in the pool area were OK - a bit squeaky with some bolts that need tightening.

Staff are friendly, knowledgable and go above and beyond for you. loved the location, a little problematic for those with mobility issues but there are ramps to use. The view from anywhere in this place was to die for! Well placed for day trips to Trapani, Erice and San Vito lo Capo. Great taxi service links, reliable. Rooms a good size and plenty of surfaces for items. Loved the breakfast choice- would have liked the eggs, bacon and sausages kept warm though. Need a fruit salad added to have with the yoghurt. good mix of savoury and sweet choices. Pool area was immaculate and plenty of beds and shade options. I did place towels down at breakfast at the beginning of our stay, but mainly out of (frowned upon habit, I know!) rather than necessity.

Lots of steps to get from room to pool, reception and restaurant. Bathroom a little cramped and lacks surface area around the sink. Shower enclosures need some attention where scuffed and look dirty (they weren't but looked scruffy)
