I don’t think there is a better view anywhere! The views from our room (Gracie) was spectacular!

The air conditioning didn’t get below 78 degrees which was not great sleeping conditions. On top of that, there was a scheduled event with super loud music directly above us. The toilet seat was broke, the advertised mini bar had nothing in it, and the bathroom window wouldn’t close all the way. The breaker on the air conditioner popped upon trying to turn it on. You can utilize the breaker panel located between the bathroom and the rooms. There were no amenities in the room except the hanging blow dryer. No coffee machine or iron.

We loved, loved, loved everything about Canzone Del Mare! You feel transported back in time to the 1950s (in a good way) and the location is truly spectacular. Our room was clean and very comfortable - and the view out onto the ocean was just incredible (we stayed in room Sophia). The furniture and decor is more old school, as to be expected, but for the price you pay it is more than we could have asked for. You get a free day pass to the beach club for each night booked at the property - we stayed two nights so could use the pool on two of our three days (we didn't use it on our final day as we had an early ferry). There's also direct access to the sea and you receive a welcome cocktail on arrival (any choice from the menu). Marina Piccola is so much more peaceful than Capri town or Marina Grande, yet still so close and easy to travel in so you get the best of both worlds. Just outside the property there is a public bus stop and there's a bus into Capri town every 15 minutes (the journey only takes 10 minutes) until about 8pm (after that they run every hour) and a single ticket is about three euros.

The water pressure in the shower was a bit intermittent - but the temperature was hot and this really wasn't a major isuse.

Over prices!

The location is outstanding and the breakfast each morning delicious. The pool is salt water from the ocean which is divine!

The bus stop is a little distance, however very manageable.

N.thing

The shower was not working and the water was very light... However, they did not inform us that there was a private party at the swimming pool and that it was booked... and they had nothing to do except the swimming pool... because the beach was very dangerous and full of rocks.

Location and history of the villa

We couldn't use the pool restaurant or lounges al day because they had a very large loud private pool party. We would not have paid to stay the extra night there if we were told.

The staff was so friendly and helpful. The location was breath taking! My daughter and I loved it. We will be back😊
