We had 3 great days in the ranthambore mahal, incredible friendly and helpful staff. We were also lucky with our tiger sightings. You should definitely book your safaris in advance, to get the best experience. The staff can also help you with the booking of these. Inform yourself which zones you want to see. There are 10 zones and the landscape and the chances of an encounter with the animals you wanna see changes with it. I can highly recommend zone 3, which is located at the lakes with view on the old fort. Besides good chances of spotting the striped cat you are probably here for you have very good chances to see crocodiles.
