Friendly staff and good value for money. Location means a car or shuttle required to visit Petra (or else a steepish walk!).

Everything - location, food, hospitality and comfort. Small hotel run by a friendly person who is assisting you with everything. Room is equipped with everything you need for comfy stay. Great breakfast gives you energy for a long day walking in Petra. Definitely recommended

Nothing - everything was perfect

We were welcomed to the hotel and given local directions, which were very good. The large room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast had many choices and set us up well for the day. The Petra site is quite close, although we drove. We only stayed 2 nights but would book again. Thoroughly recommended.

Very nice staff that is always reachable through Whatsapp. We arrived before checkin and were able to leave our backpacks in the hotel and do the checkin in the evening after we visited Petra. The view from the balcony is very nice, especially in the morning. But since there is no railing or chairs we were only able to use the balcony for some photos. The location of the hotel is good for visitors with cars. You'll find plenty of parking possibilities and in the evening you can walk 10 minutes down to the city for dinner. If you don't have a car and are arriving to Petra Visitor Center by bus you should be aware that you can't walk to the hotel easily. It's a very long and steep way. You need to take a taxi which can be quite expensive if you have to go up and down many times. At the visitor center the taxi drivers will charge up to 10 JD which is way too much. It's better to get a taxi on the way which will cost around 5 JD or less, depending on your negotiations skills and the taxi driver. ;-)

Overall everything was as expected. The only thing that we were not aware of was that in order to use the shared bathroom in the morning we need to cross the kitchen and breakfast table. So it could happen that you have to use the toilet in the morning and have to pass other hotel guests who are already having breakfast.

The room was Ok. But a small and old bathroom, with a small bathtub ...

For the Hotel category, poor services! At the breakfast, we arranged early in the morning, there was no one and nothing prepared, we waited half an hour, then we called on whats app and were told that the boy who prepares the breakfast was late...he came in the next 10 minutes, asleep and upset that he had to prepare something, we asked for omelette, he was looking for a pan, and he kept asking because he didn't speak well English...anyway, at breakfast we were only 2 people, and we got up from the table and left, because we lost our appetite! The next day we gave up breakfast from the start, to avoid the same situation...! No one greets you when you arrive or when you leave, there are 2 people, one is always sleepy, the ,, responsible for the breakfast. When leaving, we didn't have anyone to leave the key, so again, we called on whats app and woke up the breakfast responsible who took the key. And we had breakfast in town. A nasty experience. We can't call that Hotel ! And the high price is not justified! To see other similar reviews, please search for the hotel on Google ! We didn't , unfortunately!

Property is in very convenient location, just a 5 minute drive from Petra entrance and nearby lots of restaurants. The room itself was comfortable and clean. Ahmad looked after us really well, was very hospitable and ready to offer helpful advice. Would definitely recommend Over Mountains to anyone staying in Wadi Musa!!

The room was spacious. Located outside the centre of wadi musa with a good view overlooking the city and Petra.

The main issue was the noise. If you are a light sleeper then this place is not good for you, the noise from the street, and even outside the room meant a restless night. The bathroom was also very cramped.
