Jungle Paradise

Sehr hilfsbereites Personal und wirklich nahe gelegen am Udawalawa Nationalpark. Die vom Hotel vermittelte Safari Tour war wirklich sehr schön. Lasa, unser Guide und Fahrer, hat uns viele Tiere gezeigt und Zeit gelassen, die Tiere zu beobachten. Eine absolute Empfehlung.

We absolutely loved our stay at Jungle Paradise. Chathura and team couldn’t have done enough for us. They were such perfect hosts. We had the upstairs apartment which was perfect for us and our teenage daughters. The food here was also excellent and they packed us up some lunch for our safari when we asked. On returning from our safari it was raining and they came out with umbrellas for us. I was pleased that they had white wine available too. Pool area was wonderful. The lady who maintains the gardens was adorable and gave us some flowers to put in our hair. We would recommend Jungle Paradise and we would love to return one day.

Man kann nur schwärmen....ein echtes Paradies im Jungle. Sehr leckeres Essen, fantastisches Personal und wir hatten ein ganz tollen Safari! Besser kann man es nicht machen!

Nichts, jede Minute genossen!

A beautiful room in the middle of the jungle with a large veranda to sit and enjoy the sounds of the wildlife. It boasts a huge en-suite with a powerful shower and a very comfortable bed. There is a large swimming pool if you have time to enjoy this. The dining room is set over two levels and serves a choice of different foods including a variety of local Sri Lankan cuisine and also other dishes from around the world. Here was one of the few places that served wine if wanted! A lovely enthusiastic and energetic welcome from our host Chathura who was very attentive to our requests. The hotel also organised an amazing safari where as well as many elephants our guide Lassa found us 3 leopards in a tree, a very rare sighting in Udawalawe! We also visited the elephant transit home and watched the orphan elephants being fed.

L’hôtel est très bien entretenu, les chambres sont grandes et modernes. La piscine est un vrai plus, lorsque qu’il fait chaud. Le personnel est extrêmement gentil et à l’écoute. Nous avons fait un safari avec Lasa, qui a su nous guider et nous apprendre plein de choses. Nous recommandons.

Spotlessly clean, lovely pool, friendly staff, good food available. Ideally situated for safari just a few kilometres away.

A very pleasant stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful — definitely the highlight. The hotel is calm and lovely, with a nice pool and a very comfortable room. We had a really great stay there.

Alle waren superfreundlich. Das Essen war sehr gut. Der hauseigene Safariguide war ganz toll, hat im Reservat ein Essen auf Porzellantellern(!) serviert. Kurzum: Sehr empfehlenswert!

We highly recommend Jungle Paradise if you're planning a safari in Udawalawe National Park. We booked a half-day safari with Jungle Paradise and had a wonderful time. The guide is very friendly, speaks good English and has a lot of knowledge about the animals living in the park. We received a packed breakfast to eat during our safari break. The price is also competitive compared to others. The lodges are located right next to the jungle, and you can hear the sounds of the jungle at night, making it an unforgettable experience. The place is very clean and well-maintained; despite being close to the jungle, there were no bugs in our room. The pool is also very nice.

This accommodation was really out on its own but set up for Safaris to Udawalawe was top class. Chathura the front of house person was superb and went above and beyond very attentive and there from 5am until late

Maybe a little nearer to other amenities but all the excellent positives outweighed this.
