"Well.."

6.0

The room was very small but clean. However, we had a very nice balcony with a fabulous view. The breakfast was included was average but the staff refused to restock it when things ran out, even water. There's also a curfew for when you want to come back to your room and quiet hours. Not your average hotel.

"A hotel which lives up to its name!"

8.0

What can I say? Wow - what a view!!!! We visited this hotel as part of a tour of Europe, what a great find, both the hotel and the town. We were just passing through and chose this place as a stop off. I wouldn't say there is enough to do to keep you there more than one night but it really is worth a visit (see our pics!) We got a room with a view! The hotel itself is clean and everything in our room worked well, even the cooler. The staff were friendly and spoke good English and we had no problem parking. We even had a balcony. The breakfast was included in our rate (we booked with Booking.com) we paid around 70 EUR for a double. The breakfast was lovely - lots to choose from, nice fresh breads and meats, yoghurts, pastries, cereal and hot and cold drinks. The muffin was delicious! Would recommend to friends and family. Only negative was that we had big suitcases as we were travelling, and there was no lift - but I guess that's why you have a man ;)

"Poor"

4.0

This is a lovely city....what a pity that there is not a better hotel. We booked a week before we visited and were not told that there was no breakfast available. They did give a minimal discount of 5euros each( where can you buy breakfast for that?) There was no wi fi in bedrooms. Pleasant staff.

"Tuscania is a great place to visit"

8.0

My significant other and I arrived in Tuscania by design, but never having been there we did not know what to expect. We did not have a reservation and after driving around the city discovered the Hotel Tuscania Panoramico and I'm glad we did. It sits up on a hill overlooking the city and country side--which is absolutely spectacular. We had a very nice room with a huge veranda overlooking the beautiful landscaped countryside. Breakfast was served with the room and it was quite good. There was a wide variety to choose from and it was overall excellent. The room was large, it had good free wifi--that actually worked and the hotel had a place to park the car. We stayed two nights and would have stayed a third but had to give up our room to some bikers that came in for the weekend. The only downside may be there is no lift. The hotel is only two stories, but there are a number of stairs to climb. For anyone with a mobility disability it would be a real challenge to get around.

"Tuscania is a dream!"

8.0

Great hotel with excellent breakfast options and spacious rooms in a wonderful rural town, right outside the town walls. My only complaint was that the wireless internet did not work very well. But the hotel itself was lovely and Tuscania is a town I dream about spending more time in!

"Old fashioned, comfortable, very agreeable"

8.0

A somewhat old-fashioned atmosphere. Rambling big rooms, large bathrooms, a huge terrace/patio for our party of four to have twilight drinks overlooking the town. We weren't interested in picking fault - we liked it a lot.

"The best hotel in the area - very helpful staff"

8.0

Tuscania is a great base for exploring Etruscan ruins. The hotel sits outside the walled city. It's easy walking into town and there's a free car park as well. The hotel is pretty basic with fairly large rooms. Weak air conditioning and rooms well used, but very clean. Breakfast was good. Ask for a room with a terrace overlooking the city. Based on our travels, it was the best hotel in the area. Easy driving to Tarquinia (Etruscan museum and painted tombs), Parco dei Mostri in Bomarzo and Niki de St Phalle's Gardino dei Tarocchi). The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly.
