Not the most modern hotel facilities adequate,.But the little lady who runs the hotel a Pearl don't find many like her .

Really good value for money. Lovely grandma running it. Waited until 10pm for us to check in. In the morning when we checked out, she even provided us a packed breakfast and dropped us off to the station. She really went above and beyond.

Outdoor showers but for the price you can't complain. Lots of bugs due to being situated near a rice paddy, so no fault of the accommodation.

Mama San is wonderful. A high tech little old lady eager to connect with her visitors. accommodations are very simple but commodious. This hostel caters to bicycle travelers. The nearest shopping area is about 1 km away, which is no problem if you have a bike.

The owner was absolutely adorable. We had a fun night talking and eating together. I would absolutely recomend to take the food option at the hotel to eat a cheap but hearty and traditional japanese meal.

Nice and convenient hotel that offers place for a group of friends, mountain hikers, cyclists and pilgrims. We staid with a group of five friends on a road trip through Northern Shikoku island. We came by car (we could park at the location for free) and used it as a base to go autumn hiking in the region. It forms a great base from which to drive to Ishizuchi and Iofuji mountains. We staid three nights. The place is basic and sometimes could do with a bit of dusting and TLC (do not expect the luxury of a five star hotel), but the price was very good. The rooms are rudimentary, but had clean bed linen and internet. The temperature was nice and we did not need Aircon (although it was there). The showers and toilet are shared and basic, but we used different onsen in the mountains, after the hike, which can be easily reached if you have a car. The owner, a cute grandmother will make up for the lack of luxury - by far - especially if you can speak a little bit Japanese. We were welcomed with open arms and could count on her for advice on the region and she cooked the most wonderful Japanese/Western breakfast, early in the morning (you need to pay for this, but the price is great dn the food fresh and delicious). Moreover, the owner was most kind and provided small extras, such as delicious cake/pudding and some snacks for the mountain. It made the stay amazing and memorable! Thank you so much! ありがとうございます! If you are used to luxuries, maybe it is best to look for a different place. Give it a chance! The place was most memorable, fun and friendly.

Super nice and helpful host, and her free lunch pack and ride to a restaurant was very sweet! Sheets were clean.

Worn and not clean ( stained floors, walls, mattress. Debris and spider webs in the corners).. Long walk outside to shower and sink. This should be substantially cheaper due to it's condition.

The owner was very kind and friendly. She used Google translate to communicate with us. She gave us snack as we left for our 🚲 activity

The bath room is far away and quite small
