The bonfire was really fun for kids Breakfast can be improved

Very close to the station and the cable cars. There was a mini fridge in your room and free hot and cold drinks in the lounge. We enjoyed making the camp fire and the restaurant in the hotel (though we could not order the set course because you need to reserve in advance online) We loved the view from the big windows in our room and the design of the room.

We went during shoulder season and the air conditioning could not be turned on during a hot afternoon. It was good that we were able to open the window until it cooled down at night. We thought we would have a choice of breakfast sandwich on the 2nd day.

Bonfire and firewood splitting experience was nice. Staff were very helpful

Great location! Literally next to the Takaosanguchi Station and it was just a walk away from MT Takao's starting point. There was also a konbini pretty close so got some snack there too before hiking (btw my advice is that if you do a 1 night trip, arrive early enough and start hiking way before early evening, when it was time to return from the MT, sun had set and it was pitch dark and had to use flashlight at times so I won't trip at the stairs :D). Anyway, the room was big and held everything I needed for 1 night and I liked that there was a countryside landscape from the window. It was also really nice that the place had a vending machine with free tea and a hobby room and board games so definitely fun for all ages. There was even an opportunity to spend time at the bonfire area (would recommend to try!) Breakfast was in a box, enough food for the return trip in my opinion. The staff was friendly and all in all, great experience!

This is our second time to stay at Takaone, this time with our family friends. However, we did not enjoy the bonfire so much this time because there were no noodles for sale, and it was very cold that evening.

Close to the station and a perfect for base for our plan to do the Traverse hike from Mount Jinba to Mt Takao

On the last night the air conditioning was emitting a humming noise that made it difficult to sleep. The staff moved us to another room though so that was adequately resolved

Clean, modern facilities. Location is unbeatable, just across the road from the train station and near Mount Takao cable car station. Breakfast box was appreciated and comes with free juices and drinks.

Room not exactly soundproof, but everyone there mostly slept early anyway, not really an issue.
