Great rooms and facilities. Excellent location. Nice extras like fire pits and bbq’s.

It’s very near the train station and cable car station. The breakfast and dinner course were really delicious. Our family also loved the bonfire. Would like to be back.

初めて利用しました。お風呂は普通の家庭と同じ大きさのユニットバスが部屋についています。シンプルな部屋で時計やテレビがない分、ゆっくり過ごすことができました。久しぶりに会った友達と修学旅行みたいに過ごせて楽しかったです。３階の部屋を利用しましたが、夜間隣の部屋の話し声が聞こえることもありませんでした。 2階には24時間使えるラウンジがあります。一部飲み物も無料で提供しており良心的です。お風呂と夕食は近隣の施設を利用しました。駅近だし飲食店も歩いて行けますので不便さはありません。朝食はサンドイッチと飲み物の提供があります。カフェのメニューがとても美味しそうです。一階のカフェは朝7時からオープンしており宿泊者だけでなく登山前のお客さんもいました。朝から夜まで空いているので登山後に帰る前にお茶をしたりちょっと遅めのランチも食べられます。 オプションで焚き火体験を追加しました。初めてでしたがチェアーや薪割り道具も全て揃っています。焚き火でベーコンやマシュマロを焼いたり、ワイワイ楽しめました。このエリアは初めて訪れましたが、また利用したいと思います。

5 - 8 mins walk to the Mt Takao hike entrance and cable car station

If you drive, as there is no parking facilities, you will have to park at Times parking which is about 5-8 mins away. Remember to ask for the QR Code as the staff don’t seems to bother to ask. If almost all places, the reception always ask if you need a taxi, a helping hand to the luggage. None here. On the last night (stayed here for two nights), my wife was not well. Tried to order noodles or something warm. Nope. We have a standard takeaway menu. Sigh. Got a survey form from the manager to the hotel. Unfortunately it is in local language of course. But I was able to translate that this is a new hotel with staff still learning “trial and error”. Hope thy will do better soon.

Hotel is in as new condition. My room had 3 single low proper (with mattresses) beds and was huge by Japanese standards. I was expecting 2 sets of bunk beds from the booking.com photos so check your room type.As I was travelling alone I only needed one bed. Bed was quite comfortable.Nice soft pillow. Efficient and very quiet individual air conditioning. Perfect location opposite Takaosanguchi station. Bathroom was really nice with shower not over the bath. Very nice shampoo etc by Pola. Quiet. My room 401 had a view toward t:he mountains in the direction of the route to the cable car. The bonfire was enjoyable. I found the roof terrace only on the morning of departure. It would be perfect for star gazing. The staff could have mentioned that. Reserve in advance for dinner.

English staff support was patchy. The only luggage forwarding they offer is cash on delivery. Not suitable for international tourists. I used the 711 down the road to send my suitcase.The 711 at the station is very small, closes early and doesn’t offer luggage forwarding because they are too busy. Breakfast box was so so.If you stay a second night you get more choice of breakfast on the second morning.

高尾山登山の前泊に利用しました。 スタッフはみな穏やかな感じで、20時過ぎにチェックインだったのでちらっとしか見ませんでしたが焚き火もいい感じで、癒されました。 テイクアウトの朝食はサンドイッチでとても美味しかったです。飲み物もいくつかの中から、オニオンスープを選びました。これも美味しかったです。登山前の朝食に最高。今度、ゆっくり伺いたいと思ったホテルでした。

This was a fun diversion! It's not a 'normal' hotel to stay at, but when pairing it with the outdoor activities at Mt. Takao, it's just right. Friendly, young staff do their best to be helpful, and while the modernist facility has quirks, we enjoyed it a lot. Almost an eco-hotel, it still has a youthful, fun vibe about it. Think outside of the box (hotel) and give it a try!

It was a spacious and beautiful room, with every comfort and a beautiful view.

The breakfast could be improved. Maybe by using fresher ingredients.
