The Glenrock Wellness Nature Resort

The staff was amazing. They ensured my wife and I were very happy Let me first say how accomodating the staff was. The staff at Glenrock ensured that we were well taken care and went above and beyond with extras to ensure we were happy.  Lodging: The lodging was excellent, I slept very well in their comfortable bed and the ceiling fan with the AC was perfect.  Environment: The area and grounds offer a spectacular view from above and below, we did not want to leave, heard a few monkeys on our roof during the night. Food: The dinner was good and the breakfast was plentiful, they did not leave our side and ensured the breakfast on the river was done perfectly. They went out of their way to make us happy. Overall: My team,my wife and I loved "The Glenrock", we will stay again and stay longer next time. Thank you to the entire team

The location was excellent. So close to nature. We had an amazing two nights there. The staff was also super helpful.

The staff, amenities and the food at the restaurant were all so exceptional! Falling asleep to the sound of the river below was total bliss. We were thrilled to have opted for the river cabins - we loved our lush everything was outside our room. We also appreciated how the hotel had free daily activities planned and listed on a board, including tours of the local village and excursions to the nearby waterfalls. We stayed with our 18 month daughter and had a bliss stay. I would definitely recommend staying here for a minimum of 2 days for a totally relaxed vacation! What a little GEM of a hotel! Well worth a trip to the area!

Nothing! Everything was wonderful!

We stayed in the Mountain View room which has a balcony view of mountain and is over the river. We saw giant squirrels and good birdlife- grey horn bill, 3 types of barbets, etc from our room. They have a free trip to the waterfall - we jumped in for a swim from the rock ledge which was exciting and a guided village, cave- temple walk. The staff were very helpful and made the stay, especially Duminda and Chinthka. The food was terrific jacuzzi was great. Swimming in the river was stunning.

The roads were deteriorated so it was to long for us to drive to Horton Plains or Bakers Bend from Belihuloya.

We LOVED staying at the Glenrock. Best hotel I have ever stayed at, the location is a dream and we loved the natural pool and swimming in the river. We stayed in a river cabana and the room was lovely. Visited by monkeys in the morning. All the food we had was delicious. The staff were also great.

Incredible nature filled eco paradise! Imresh and his team go above and beyond to make you feel special and welcome! This property is hidden away in the heart of nature and as a result you are surrounded by natures beauty! Birds, monkeys, butterflies and more, whilst still having the experience of a luxury hotel! The day trips are fun and the staff were exceptional!

A little pricey, especially the wine but worth splashing out on this as a treat, especially if you love nature.
