Lakegala Resort

Had a wonderful stay at Lakegala Resort while travelling from Ella to Sigiriya. The location is perfect, especially for travelers visiting Wasgamuwa National Park. If you are planning a long journey from Ella to Sigiriya, I highly recommend staying one night at Lakegala Resort to relax and enjoy the beautiful nature. The food was absolutely delicious, the atmosphere was peaceful, and the staff was very friendly and supportive.

Unexpectedly good experience, amazing swimming pool and huge and clean room.

With my room being quite close to the road, traffic was a bit loud at times.

Very spacious and comfortable room, suitable for three people. Good facilities, good value for money, and courteous staff. Meals are available at the on-site restaurant. A mini supermarket is located on the opposite side of the road, directly in front of the hotel. This is the only hotel in the area offering standard facilities. Would consider staying again.
