The owner was extremely welcoming and helpful. Such a lovely family. You can tell there is a lot of love and joy in their home. On arrival he made me a delicious cup of ginger tea. The breakfasts were fantastic with a wide selection and we could even put in requests. On the last night, we requested dinner and they cooked an incredible fish curry made from Tilapia we bought from a local fisherman in the street. The room is very comfortable and we had everything we were promised and more. They even did my laundry at no charge. My bed was great! Cooling off at the pool after Polonnaruwa was a real pleasure. The pool and the gardens are beautiful and you feel real relaxed. The elephant safari was a few minutes away and Polonnaruwa was a mere 30 min drive.

I feel like I had good value for money so no complaints. There are lots of mozzies and other insects, but this is to be expected in a jungle. Upali put up a mosquito net and the aircon worked very well. The bathroom could do with some practical touches but everything worked well.

😍Located next to the city, this is a little paradise. There is also a very quiet and beautiful garden. Very close to ATM. The most beautiful swimming pool. The owner and staff here are very friendly and helpful. All travel and destinations were prepared. It was very convenient for me. The room and bed are amazing. He helped arrange wonderful things like a village ride and ayurvedic massage at a reasonable price which is a never before experienced experience. They also provided their vehicle at a very low price compared to other places. It was a great comfort to me. Very delicious Sri Lankan style dinner and breakfast. It was very special to me. Explained everything to me and helped me to save my money and safety. 1000% security and value for money. It is possible to prepare anything needed. I can't forget this place. I'll be back.
