Jolie chambre dans une maison en bois. Dans l'ensemble assez bien et assez bien placée mais désagréablement surprise par la note finale des repas pris sur place. Je vous conseille de demander le tarif avant de commander.

Nous avons trouvé une blatte sur la moustiquaire. Chambre trop sombre. Je n’était pas à l’aise dans cette chambre

Die Unterkunft ist einfach, aber für 1-3 Nächte vollkommen ausreichend. Frühstück ist ausreichend und auf Wunsch bereitet der Gastgeber auch Abendessen zu und organisiert eine Safari. Er ist sehr bemüht um seine Gäste. Falls man mit einem Tuktuk/Scooter/Auto kommt, es gibt eine eigene abgesperrten Parkplatz.

The upper unit verandah has a nice view out over the rice fields and across to the Stupa.

The room facilities are very basic. No bedside light, no desk for computer, power points in inconvenient positions, no shelves, hooks or space to hang or store clothes. There is no bar fridge, so water etc can't be kept cold. .There is little or no soundproofing between the upper and lower units., so if both units occupied you'll hear every word or noise from other unit. The meals were quite ordinary and were very much overpriced, when compared to similar meals from restaurants in nearby Tissamahara town.. The kitchen in which the meals are prepared wouldn't pass health standards. The tap water isn't drinkable, yet the proprietor tried to charge top price for bottled water. No UHT milk is provided for tea/coffee Overall, the unit felt a bit grubby and poorly maintained. I stayed there as a solo male traveller and it was just bearable,, but i wouldn't stay there if travelling as a couple. Other places in Tissa would be nicer and represent better value.

The room was nice, the bed was very good, the owner did everything himself, he was a very nice host, very kind and gives you a nice welcome drink, it was clean.

The shower could use a bit more pressure and one of the 2 rooms had airconditioning and we had the one without, if you can handle the heat, it's ok, but I couldn't and had to go to another place to stay the next night. He is planning to add airconditioning to the second room as well, but now it's not there yet.
