Helpful staff and a great beach just a few steps ahead of the room. Nothing else's needed.

So close to the beach, breakfast

Room in the hall, dark room, could be cleaner, noise (party in the restaurant)

The ‘house’ is located on the beach, a terrace has ocean view that you can enjoy every morning after leaving your room. Waves sound will put you sleep after long & hot day. Rooms have basic equipment - bed, small table, toilet with shower and that is all you need for one night or longer stay in Lucky Sea Beach. If it is about staff - the boys are doing that place and vibe there. They are helpful if you want the will organize taxi/tuk tuk/scooter for you. They will advise where to find perfect beach nearby or they will organize activities/tours for you. In the evening they will prepare delicious seafood bbq and cocktails for you, and after hot day they treat you with cold beer and show you a live music bar on Tangalle Beach or take you to the beach bar for great beach party. Recommend to all of you who consider to stay in Tangalle for a while, to all of you that know you don’t need silver spoon or bed of roses, to all of you for whom beer and skittles is enough 😉

The resident host and family were very helpful with any requests and information reqd. The Sri Lankan breakfast was very delicious and plenty to eat.

The beach was not as close as advertised by booking .com.Which I expected to be on the site but was about 300 mts away I think the rooms should all have air con for relief.

Fantastic view

Very short bed Dark room Fan - we were afraid to use it due to... a lot of dirt.

Location was good and served food and drink.

Room was damp , Dark and smelly. And dirty sheets. Also people walking past constantly and could hear them all through the night ( we were on bottom floor not sure if it’s better on the 2nd)

Dark smelly room, uncomfortable bed, restaurant working hours depend if/when the chief decided to come
