The hosts were very welcoming (husband and wife) and great at communication. They messaged me asking what time we would be there for check in and also if we would like dinner to be arranged. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the owner with a smile and a tray of fresh tea. The views from the balcony were beautiful overlooking the rice paddy. It was very relaxing sitting there with a cup of tea. Excellent price and great value for money. The room was clean and comfortable, enough towels for our family of 5 which wasn't the case in other places we had stayed. Room was basic but clean you get what you pay for. The dinner was freshly prepared traditional Sri Lankan food and was delicious! We even got a dessert included. The owner even went on his motorbike to get my son fresh watermelon so sweet. We had a safari in the early morning so woke at 4am and the owner had our breakfast prepared in a basket to take with us, it was plentiful and fresh. They offered us late check out which was greatly recieved so we could shower and relax after the safari before moving onto our next destination. I would highly recommend this stay, everything was great and the surroundings are beautiful. The host was telling me he has a new pizza restaurant venture I wish him luck as I am sure it will be great along with his home. Thanks again.

Very friendly, helpful and welcoming staff who went above and beyond for us. The food (breakfast and home cooked dinner) was exceptional. The balcony views are stunning, peaceful and relaxing.

The tap on the shower kept falling off and the light came on and off but wasn’t a huge problem!

L'accueil chaleureux dans une jolie maison typique avec un très beau jardin. Les chambres spacieuses et très bien équipées, donnant sur une terrasse aménagée avec vue sur la rizière. Nous avons dîné sur place après le Safari à Yala. Le repas était excellent avec des spécialités Sri Lankaises, servi avec beaucoup d'attention par les hôtes à nous faire découvrir et apprécier la cuisine Sri Lankaise. Le petit déjeuner est servi en terrasse dans un jardin magnifique. Il est très copieux avec beaucoup de fruits, jus de mangue, roti, pancakes noix de coco miel et autres spécialités....

La familia es muy acogedora y antes de la estancia incluso nos escribieron para aconsejarnos clmo llegar hasta su homestay. La habitación estaba limpia y era muy grande. El AC funcionaba a la perfección y tenia una terraza con vistas a los campos de arroz preciosa. La única pega es que al realizar el safari con ellos se equivocaron de jeep y nos fuimos con otra empresa, esto nos causó un poco de angústia porque no sabíamos que estaba pasando y el conductor que tuvimos de la empresa equivocada no nos explicó nada acerca de los animales. Es una pena porque seguro que con la empresa con la que el alojamiento trabaja habríamos tenido mejor experiencia. Aun asi, recomiendo mucho este lugar.

- Owners incredibly helpful, going above and beyond to make my time in SL enjoyable. In the lead up to my stay, they gave me advice on which buses to catch and even met me at the bus terminal to give me a lift home on arrival. When I was leaving, they also gave me a lift to the bus stop and waited with me for the bus to come, making sure the driver knew where I had to get off. - Room very spacious, clean and comfortable with a hot shower and good AC - Good location, a short walk to Tissa town - Good meals provided at reasonable prices - Sensational views across the rice fields - Nice and peaceful, with a chilled vibe

Questo é un posto eccellente in qui soggiornare.la stanza con balcone e ottima vista sulla natura. É posibile ordinare la colazione, il pranzo o la cena.cibo deliziosa e abondante. Una famiglia adorabile e super accogliente.loro organizzano anche yala safari.

We loved our stay here, the room was modern, spacious and spotlessly clean. The owners organised a really good safari for us at a good price, they provided us with a breakfast basket for the safari too. We also enjoyed a delicious home cooked meal one of the evenings for dinner using fresh, local ingredients. Would highly recommend this homestay! The hosts are so friendly

Heel schoon en sfeervol ingericht hotel. Het echtpaar is bijzonder vriendelijk en regelt alles voor je. Zo heeft haar zwager ons naar Galle gebracht. En allerlei boeiende zaken verteld en laten zien. Heerlijk gegeten hier. Ook een prima ontbijt. Fraai uitzicht over de rijstvelden .
