Breakfast was good. The manager Chrishmal was very helpful. we reached there late but he quickly organised the room and let us sleep immediately . He even lent his phone charger . thank you The owner dropped us off at the airport free of charge . Our flight was canceled due Heathrow airport closure and came back to the hotel and stayed there another night. The whole experience was great. Convenient location . Colombo Fort railway station is 40 minutes drive and Bandaranayke airport is 20 minute drive . We will use this hotel again and again

There are a couple things we didn’t really appreciate 1. There was not hot water from shower but the manger keeps saying it does work. It end up not working so we needed to take cold water shower. On the next day morning, we saw they brought in gas cartridge 🤦 2. We told the manager we want to checkout earlier and he replied to us it’s okay and they can prepare breakfast box for us. On that day, he didn’t come to lobby so we couldn’t check out. I called him many times but he didn’t pick it up. I asked my driver to call his number. He tried couple times and he finally picked it up and he came down to the entrance. I asked him about breakfast and they need 30 mins to prepare for it. He insisted he was on time and no apology for not preparing breakfast… There was not even single sorry from him through whole trip which disappointed me and make this stay feel pretty bad.

Warm welcome. We could order breakfast according to our preference. The room was spacious and bright with amazing sea views. The sea in this location has a natural protection from the waves. The rocks provide a calm place to swim even if the waves are strong.

Just keep in mind that it's not totally soundproof

Our stay here was wonderful! Mr. Chandana and the hotel staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Mr. Chandana personally ensured that all our needs were met, making our stay both comfortable and memorable. Location: The hotel is conveniently located with quick access to Uswetakeyyawa Besama Beach. It also features a charming private garden by the sea, perfect for some peaceful relaxation. View: We stayed in a top-floor room with a small balcony, offering a breathtaking ocean view. Waking up to the sound of waves in the morning was incredibly relaxing, and we could easily spend hours simply soaking in the serene beauty of the ocean. Room: The room was spacious and came with all essential amenities. We noticed some items, like the drainage lid, were a bit worn or rusty, but nothing that raised hygiene concerns. Additionally, we couldn’t find a way to turn on the hot water. However, these were minor inconveniences that didn’t detract much from the overall comfort of our stay. Food: Hats off to the chef! The food was delicious, with reasonable prices and generous portions. We had the English breakfast, which was fantastic—featuring bacon, omelets, sausages, toast with butter and jam, pancakes, and fresh fruits. Overall, it was a delightful experience, and we look forward to visiting again! And again special thank goes to mr.Chandana for taking such a good care of his guests.

The internet speed in this area isn’t great (tested with Mobitel and Hutch). Wi-Fi and TV programs were unavailable ( due to a service provider issue.) There were mosquitos, so it’s best to keep doors and windows closed in the evening.
