Bivon Reach

Wonderful place! Located away from the hustle and bustle of the city with a beautiful view of the ocean and a climatic beach on the other side. Clean rooms, delicious breakfasts, with the possibility of eating in the garden. Very nice and very helpful owners. I highly recommend!

They were friendly and price was low

It doesn’t have a private beach that you can swim. Beach is full of local people. Dont expect much, but for an active and short rest , it’s worth 🙏

The location was perfect, right in front of Besama, which is an ideal place to enjoy the beach. The staff was so friendly and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. I booked B&B thinking we could grab a bite from local restaurants. Unfortunately there was only one restaurant nearby. Bivon Staff offered to prepare the dinner for us, and both dinner and breakfast were awesome. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway.

The room was dirty and smelled really, really bad. The bed linen was grubby. I slept on top of the linen, which left my clothing smelling awful. No toilet paper, no hot water. Rubbish on the balcony. Had confirmed previously to arrival that the hotel could arrange transport to the train station the next morning. They would not do this. Was advised to do it myself using an app. Was unable to find a driver and ended up missing my train to Ella and had to cancel my next hotel and rearrange my travel plans. Breakfast was not great. Cold omelette and hotdog. I asked to eat outside as inside was incredibly smelly, hot, and stuffy, I was told that I couldn't. Booked here as the hotel info says 24 hour reception, which was not the case. My plane was an hour late, and I had to wake up the staff to get in. It made me feel bad waking them up at 1am. The guy working there was more interested in obtaining an Australian visa than welcoming me to Sri Lanka, not very helpful at all. I was wondering if I had arrived at a different hotel as this place was NOTHING like the description and reviews on this site. I was spammed with information about their other properties in Sri Lanka - if they are anything like this place, I would recommend avoiding them.

Large clean room with a great view.

We were informed that we had to pay in cash in local currency. We had to wait over an hour for the free transfer from the airport. Not much around this location other than the beach.

Very nice location, friendly staff. Pubudu and the other guys there were all great. Close to Colombo and to the airport as well. Beach front, even though we didn't go to the beach in the short time we were there.

The hotel was convenient to get to the airport and Colombo. Great view of the ocean and the city skyline from the roof terrace. Pubudu was excellent. He was fantastic at helping us store our bags, arranging transport to the airport and generally was great at his job. Nothing was a problem for him and he had such a positive attitude.
