Waves Hiri Sea View

Right on the beach with great views of the surf from the large balcony. The room was modern, clean and very comfortable. Walk to everything. 2 recommendations for dining, the Italian restaurant 2 doors down (think it was Baccuzi) and Smoke and Bitters. Even though it said there wasn’t any parking there was. We loved our stay at Waves Hiri and highly recommended it!

We absolutely loved our stay at Waves Hiri. The location is absolutely perfect with the beach right on the hotels doorstep. Lots of great restaurants close by, Malu Poke is right next door & made amazing cappuccinos which we started every day with. The staff were all incredibly friendly and were so sweet and welcoming. The rooms are huge and had an aircon and fan as well as a mini fridge. The sea view from the rooms is really special & it’s amazing to have a huge balcony to make use of. We also loved the beach themed bathroom, what a cute touch :) the hotel also rents surfboards if you need one and can assist with laundry & transport and anything else you may need. Just a heads up that no credit card facilities are available so cash payment is required.

Absolutely beautiful room clean huge and with an amazing sea view balcony! Our host was lovely and we really did feel relaxed at this beach front luxury hotel!

Far too loud for us due to the bar/s around the accommodation. Maybe ok for younger guys. One window didn’t have a curtain, bar opposite could see in so I pulled over other curtain which was big enough to party cover. Also sun woke us up at sunrise due to the above.

Big, clean modern room and bathroom with required facilities. Very comfortable bed, sheets and pillows. Desk and fridge were most welcome. Location is a few steps from the beach. Had a balcony overlooking the bay.

Not a lot. If anything, the room was a bit bare. Could have done with some decoration eg pictures on walls. Also some furniture to put clothes. And a curtain on the side window to block sunlight in the morning.

Excellent location, right in front of the beach with viewing on the waves. Great for surfers. Staff are super kind. Wifi worked well.

Bathroom is clean but a bit basic. Lightening could be improved also.

The location and balcony view. Staff were attentive and had good recommendations whenever we asked for. The vibe is nice since you can hear the ocean sound from the room and chill music from nearby restaurant. WiFi was good.

The facilities were a bit too basic for me, missing basic staff like body mirror and bedside tables. Fan was not working properly (even thought AC is available )

Waves is in such a wonderful location in Hiriketiya. Just opposite the beach which means you can pop back to your room for things if you’re at the beach or pop down for a sunrise swim. The bed was so comfortable, aircon was great and the balcony was lovely. After reading some reviews of the bar opposite I was worried about the music/noise at night but it wasn’t a problem at all for us - we slept perfectly. We loved it here and would stay again without hesitation.

The Wi-Fi didn’t work in our room, but we were on the top floor and I assume furthered from the box. It worked on the terrace and downstairs. Bathrooms could do with an upgrade but didn’t bother us too much.
