Waves Hiri Sea View

Great location overlooking the bay, although some rooms have better view than others, just looking into the palm trees with the occasional monkey. Rooms were very new and very clean. Staff was nice and attentive. Enjoyed my stay there.

Restaurant across the street is blasting loud music into the night even though it‘s completely empty but it was ok.

Great view and location, close to the beach and good cafes and central and easy to walk to everywhere around the bay. It was an easy walk to the quieter Dikwella beach. Bed was comfy, room was pretty simple but nice and clean. It was lovely sitting out on the balcony and looking out, there was always a good breeze. The guys who run it are legends

- very noisy - there was music from at least 3 different restaurants most of the time, it starts early and goes til pretty late.. I had to sleep with noise cancelling headphones on. For this reason if I went here again I’d try to stay somewhere not close to other cafes however most guesthouses seem to have cafes attached to them so I don’t think it’s easily avoided. - The windows at the front didn’t open - could get a great breeze coming in but it’s pretty hot in the rooms and the fan didn’t do anything

Perfect location Hiri is beautiful. You’re in the thick of Hiri next to the beach. I’m a surfer so perfect for surfers. The place has a surf vibe feel and very cool. My favourite place in Sri Lanka by far. The accommodation was very comfortable but basic inside. The guys at accommodation were nice and helpful. We would definitely stay again. Monkeys everywhere each morning it was amazing.

If I’m picky it needed some bedside tables and a cupboard to put your clothes as we were living out of a suitcase as no place to put clothes.

Extremely loud!! The bars and restaurants behind the hotel blast music at full volume almost all day, with multiple songs playing at once. It was overwhelming- I couldn’t handle the noise and ended up leaving after just one night.

Booked for 1 night and stayed for 3. Amazing location, very very clean room, perfect WiFi, lovely staff/very helpful, 10 seconds from beach, relyable hot shower...amazing!10/10

windows cannot be opened in the room. only window to open is in the bathroom facing the backyard, packed with flies and no mosquito net

The location was perfect, with a huge balcony overlooking the sea and just a one-minute walk to the beach.
