Real Santo Domingo

We really liked the house, the size of the room as well as the rooftop terrace. The owner has been absolutely lovely. She is sich a gem, so helpful and sweet. We’ve even been able to use the bathroom in one of the not occupied rooms before we went on the night bus.

The location is nothing for a light sleeper, though it seems that all streets in the historical center of Oaxaca are main roads anyways. It’s been fairly loud due to traffic if you’re sleeping on the ground floor.

The owner and staff were great. Really made us feel welcome. The hotel was great, too.

Needs better wifi.

The only thing I liked about this property is the location.

The pictures and description on your website does not reflect the deteriorated conditions on the building. On Booking it indicated the I booked a hotel not a hostel. The premises didn’t have a person on their lobby, the furniture In the building was old and uncomfortable. The “Hotel” was super hot and didn’t have AC. I also noticed some hazardous issues such as uncovered wires on the rooftop that could potentially harm a person. I can keep going listing all the issues, however, I will not as I am on vacation and I don’t want to wast much time writing about my absorbámonos there.
