Kandy IVY Banks Holiday Resort

This place was perfect for our short stay in Kandy. The room and bathroom were spotless and had so much natural light. The balcony was huge and had a nice view. The breakfast in the morning was amazing - one of our favourite Sri Lankan breakfasts of our whole trip. It’s also a few mins walk to Kandy Lake and within walking distance of the sacred tooth temple etc.

The place was next to a music school so it was really noisy.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. I feel very grateful for their hospitality. I think this hotel is a good combination of quality and price. I was very happy to see monkeys on our balcony (thanks god I was fast enough to get back into the room).

Kind host who helped us with our tuktuk. Also possible to pay in euros which was really nice for us! :) Room and breakfast were fine!

The mosquito net was a bit small for the size of the bed. Also, the location was not the closest to the center.

Great guesthouse walking distance to the centre. The owner was very friendly and helpful and took us on a tour of the area which was very good. Great breakfast sat in the garden. Very clean and comfy beds
