Liyanage Resort

The pool was unclean along with the washrooms. There was a constant dead cockroach smell in the washroom. The commode was so dirty that we couldn’t sit on it without lining tissue papers.

Wonderfully friendly and accommodating staff. Nice hot wster. The breakfasts were huge and delicious. Loved the fruit and egg hoppers. The room was comfortable with a large balcony and it is located close to Coconut Hill, beaches and shops.

I would have liked a few coffee sachets- all tea, however there is a shop next door to buy them. Also,the pool could have been filtered a little more.

It was ok, the breakfast was good. The pool wasn't clean. There was a lot of traffic noise and dogs barking in the middle of the night. The staff were pleasant

Large room, host helps, has taxi, very close to the turtle beach, brekfast is fast and huge.

For me it was no problem that road is close as anyway you use air conditioning. Cleaness is as all Sri Lananka, all is good.

There are many places in the world, each falling into different categories. When comparing 5-star hotels, it's essential to evaluate them within the same context. So this is not a 5-star hotel, but for the low-budget stays is great. Location: I highly recommend this place as the Turtle Tips Bar and beach is just 5 minutes from here, where the food is amazing and the staff is incredibly friendly. Additionally, shops and restaurants are right nearby. The owner of the accommodation is exceptionally polite. He allowed us to have a late checkout, which meant the world to us. The breakfast served was also quite good. Considering the affordable price, great location, delicious breakfast, and the kindness of the owner, I would give this place a solid 10/10!
