Zazil Retreat

Beautiful sea views, fantastic shala, romantic cabana s, good food, good service, very sweet people.

Everything about the place was stunning! The view, the staff, the linens were so soft (rare in this part of Mexico).

My only suggestion would be to offer coffee earlier than 8:30am. And that hill! Oh my! Worth every gruelling step for the reward at the top.

I had the most wonderful week at Zazil. Crista is an incredible host, making Zazil feel like a home away from home. From the incredible food, amazing service, to the stunning views and yoga space, everything is literally perfect. I highly recommend booking here, a wonderful and relaxing experience.

Nothing, everything was perfect.

Really comfortable, amazing rooms, great pool and view of the coast, absolutely lovely host and tasty breakfast.

No negative points, just be really careful driving up the hill as it’s really steep and it was almost impossible on a scooter (150cc). Take a car instead.

Gorgeous scenery and grounds, yummy and simple breakfast, beautiful room with sea view, kind and attentive staff.

There is no AC but it’s manageable with the provided fan.

The staff was very friendly & helpful and Christa was an amazing host. I really enjoyed the breakfast (fresh bread and fruits)! The rooms are spacious and spotless clean. The amazing view comes with a 5min uphill walk, which didn't bother us. We would stay here again and also really enjoyed the relaxed town of San Augustinillo

Very serene location, excellent view. Free upgrade to celebrate our engagement, and the room was phenomenal, one of the most unique we've ever stayed in. Pool had a great view too. Unbelievable location for yoga class, very scenic. Staff mostly very amenable. Room was cleaned fairly thoroughly and often. Owner was very willing to help on issues

The retreat felt a bit empty, you didn't know who to talk to face-to-face if you had questions or issues, apart from messaging, and there was no one to welcome us while the owner was away. The breakfast became quite samey after 2 times, so a tiny bit of variety would have made a big difference. Wifi was fairly patchy throughout, but it's a retreat so maybe that isn't the worse thing. And the hill is the steepest I think we've ever regularly had to traverse, so if you have mobility issues you'll need a car. Also the owner was quite condescending when we raised issues/gave feedback which was the biggest negative we had
