The beach was not what I expected.

Great view and steps away from the ocean. Very friendly staff who made us morning coffee 😀 Hot shower🚿

The location was increíble and so comfy. Was a great beach and the staff was so helpful

Staff super friendly. Complementary coffee for hotel guest from 7:00 AM. Showers very hot. A/C nice and cold. Delicious breakfasts on the rooftop restaurant with an amazing view. Area nice and quiet in the night time, not a party zone. Fall a sleep with the sound of the ocean. Lots of beautiful beaches nearby (Bahia Conejos). They also have a pool.

Playa Bocana had lots of wooden sticks and logs that came from the river. It’s a temporary thing, it will get cleaned up later.

Very clean Friendly and accommodating.

The internet to me was difficult

Playa Bocana is a little gem , away from the ugliness of the resorts and in a tropical paradise. Not everyone’s cup of tea, as after sunset you are left with your family and your brain and no attractions. The beach is as rough as beautiful and you will have to pay attention to your kids and see them have a blast in the tall waves. Only two simple restaurants on the beach but with a great and inexpensive menu. The hotel is perfectly located (do not bother putting on a top or footwear to go to the beach), very simple but clean and in tune with the place (if not with the 2,000$/night villas surrounding it) and the young stuff the most helpful and welcoming ever. As soon as a better room opened I was offered to upgrade to it, and I welcomed the second floor view of the beach . Sure, you will be surrounded by the call of tropical birds, the surf, and dogs deciding to welcome sunrise every day, but my sleep had never been better. Gracias!

The swimming pool is barely usable for removing salt from your body being smallish and never seeing the sun. The internet is at times challenging
