Clean room and bathroom. Great service from Wilson who has very helpful. Bikini beach is 2 minutes walk. Every day clean towels and beach towels available. The island has beautiful beaches for the tourists. People are very friendly. At the end of the beaches at the picknick beach there is a snorkeling area with stairs going into the sea. The jungle is a beautiful walk. Like most of the islands...there is lot of construction going on. There are really beautiful guesthouses and hotels on the island. The bikini beach has a lot of sunbeds and shadow from the trees. Less beautiful is the garbage you see on some properties. The island has a great supermarket behind the harbour and some really good restaurants. The best restaurant (DFC Restaurant), opened all the day for breakfast, lunch, diner you find at the harbour. Fresh juices, salads, tasteful dishes, fresh fish from the bbq, fresh fruit platters and good prices. Everything is fresh from the own garden on the roof and the greenery on the island. They also provide transfers to the other islands and resorts. Ask in the DFC restaurant for more information and prices. Nearby at the harbour is an shop for diving, fishing and snorkeling excursions for very reasonable prices. Dharavandoo is worth visiting for 4-5 days.

Breakfast...every day: 3 x toast+1 butter+1 jam+1 egg+1 dry sausage+chemical sugar water. No variation. Diner.. microwave and hot water noodles. There is a chef but he is doing nothing. We skipped the diner and went every day to the DFC restaurant at the harbour for great tasteful food.

Good location, central on the island so close to everything (island is small). Possible to pay with Euro’s, also for the activities. Nice and helpful staff, very service minded.

Bathroom is on the small side. Breakfast was simple, but adequate.

Fantastic location, clean, well equipped. And the best support from hosts before and during my stay! A host, William arranged the boat from Male and all optional tour, let all guests know Manta Alart and Whale Shark appearing the day and night. I appreciate everything his doing. And I recommend you to have a dinner at this hotel, too. a chef makes good dishes.

Bath drain often gets clogged, but not a big problem.

Very nice decoration. Excellent air conditioning. Comfortable large bed. There's sand everywhere but it's an island in Maldives so it's expected. Water available for refilling at the open kitchen.

Really lovely guesthouse in a great location, close to both the harbour and bikini beach. There's some wonderful local cafes and restaurants nearby, and it was lovely just to chill out with the locals at the harbour. Breakfast was more than sufficient and we were really happy to receive the local food. There's also a lovely rooftop terrace, but unfortunately, the seating area was often covered with guests drying clothes (there's a dedicated laundry line for this out back which we were very grateful for!). Dharavandoo is the closest island to Hanifaru Bay, one of the best places to see mantas (why we were there!) and the whole island seems to be on "manta watch", sharing around whenever they're spotted. Wilson was on it from the moment we arrived, adding us to his WhatsApp group to receive updates wherever we were, very efficient. We went out twice, our first visit, we only saw one manta, far below but also a turtle. On our second visit, we saw a whole lot more, including a little of their renowned "dancing", a hunting dolphin even made a surprise appearance which was fantastic. Would highly recommend, especially as Hanifaru is closely regulated (limited visitors and can only go with a licensed guide), and it's good to see the nature and environment receive the respect it deserves.

Our room backed up to the kitchen area and unfortunately a large group of Taiwanese guests arrived one night and were so loud and rude! It never ceases to amaze me how many people feel the need to rearrange furniture and scrape chairs across the floor at 10pm :-) As with another guesthouse experience we had in the Maldives, we'd recommend triple checking your speedboat reservations multiple times with the team on hand. Unfortunately, it seems that the contacts we're given before arrival, both on Booking and on their own websites aren't the staff who are actually present at the guesthouse. Despite arranging, and confirming our speedboat via Booking when first booked, then again a month before arrival with the provided contact person (who assured us twice it had been booked), it had not. And we were basically told that was on us for not reminding them again a week earlier. It was all sorted in the end, but could be a potential issue if you think your two confirmations are enough!

The location of this guesthouse is just about 3-4 mins walk away from the main harbour, making my it very convenient. The staff especially, Wilson was super helpful and so polite. Another convenience is they add you to a group which has constant updates about drive and snorkling trips and they are there to ensure you have the best experience. Had a lovely peaceful time during my stay.
