The views were good but only if you were booked into an elevated room

This is the first review I have written for a hotel stay however I felt compelled as I was so overwhelmingly disappointed, I hope I can prevent others from a similar experience. We always chose to stay in smaller, independent places in quiet locations, accepting rustic and quirky over corporate. However this hotel was so poor in every aspect that I felt compelled to share my views. The whole place is not only dated and dingy it is literally falling to pieces, to the point where some aspects were unsafe. Please also be mindful that a 15% service charge is automatically added to every bar bill, without asking. When a challenged this on checkout, the receptionist dismissed my query, stating that I should have checked each time I placed an order, and this could not be amended. Everywhere else we traveled in Mexico asked you to chose your service amount as a matter of courtesy, they did not assume you would pay 15% each time. I am amazed that this place continues to revive positive reviews. I would urge you to check the negative ones prior to booking as each one is accurate in their comments.

Posizione eccellente, il personale ALLA RECEPTION ê molto disponibile, la struttura é molto comoda ed ha un comodo acceso al mare per mezzo di delle scalinate in cemento che portano ad una piccolissima insenatura pubblica (quindi NON C’è SPIAGGIA PRIVATA!!) l’acqua è bellissima e la vista ê unica. Lontana dal caso e dai turisti americani che girano in kart affollando playa Norte. Ottimo strategicamente

Colazione insufficiente sia di qualità che di quantità. É una colazione continentale in cui non ê possibile fare il bis neanche di pezzo di pane. Personale che serve la colazione è molto scortese e per nulla accogliente. La colazione é composta da uovo strapazzato, frutta mix fresca, caffè americano, un bicchiere di succo di arancia. Non credo convenga affatto. Inoltre c’è scritto tra i servizi che c’è servizio di lavanderia invece non lo fanno (neanche a pagamento), non ci sono le canoe. We loved the location. The views at sunset were amazing. It was so quiet and peaceful. The small beach was great for snorkelling. Our rooms and terraces were spacious and private, perfect for relaxation.

Pool and view from the balcony was great.

The shower/bathroom needs renovation, very old. The breakfast was mediocre.

Prachtige locatie, rustige gedeelte van het eiland, mooi uitzicht, heerlijk zwembad, ontbijt op het terras bij je kamer.

Het ontbijt was wat basic, na een aantal dagen hetzelfde ontbijten, ging het ons een beetje tegen staan. Variatie in het ontbijt was lekker geweest. Het hotel wordt gepresenteerd met een eigen strand. Echter is de toegang tot het strand voor iedereen bereikbaar. Hierdoor konden ook niet hotel gasten bij het zwembad en de bedjes.

Petit hôtel construit dans la pente du terrain plein ouest = coucher de soleil fabuleux chambre en hauteur avec vue océan - très calme - belle piscine - accès à la mer parfaitement transparente et turquoise -

L’hôtel mériterait un rafraîchissement général (planches usées de notre terrasse en bois et accoudoir fauteuil cassé ) - absence de plage de sable mais crique rocailleuse - et enfin même si cela n’est pas de la responsabilité de l’hôtel nuisances sonores importantes en raison des nombreux bateaux à moteurs qui mouillent devant l’hôtel avec la sono à fond …

Nice charming hotel but needs a bit of refurbishment.

The mattress was a bit hard.

Lovely spot for snorkelling- direct access to the sea

Lots of steps, and no beach. Also not many restaurants nearby, but we knew that beforehand.
