Hotel La Joya Isla Mujeres

Eine traumhafte Unterkunft! Wunderbar am Wasser gelegen, mit eigenem Meerzugang. Schöne, saubere, große Zimmer und ein tolles Frühstück, welches man auf seiner Terrasse mit Meerblick zu sich nehmen kann. Es gibt einen Pool und - neben seiner eigenen Terrasse mit Hängematte - mehrere Plätze mit Liegen. Die Mitarbeiter sind mehr als freundlich und aufmerksam. Man kann vor Ort eine Schnorchelausrüstung ausleihen und direkt vor dem Hotel das Riff erkunden. Ich würde hier auf jeden Fall nochmals hinkommen und kann es jedem empfehlen, der sich in Ruhe entspannen möchte.

Wow, this place is magical! The design of every nook and cranny is so special, beautiful vintage tiles, a fountain and perfect pool. Breakfast was served on our room’s patio with a view of ocean and 2 rainbows the morning we stayed! There is direct access to the beach which was totally empty and crystal clear (albeit a bit rocky if you’re looking for sand). It is on the calmer less touristy side of the island which we loved but is only a 150 peso taxi ride and less then 20 mins if you want to get back into the action.

Fantastisk på alle måder. Vi boede i værelse 6… smukt værelse og det ovale badeværelse var smukt!

The staff was super nice and helpful.

Charmigt och personligt litet hotell. Lugnt och tyst. Stort rum med 2 sängar och stor balkong även om vi fick skymd havsutsikt. Trevlig pool och fantastiskt att kunna gå ner och snorkla precis nedanför hotellet. Vi såg en massa fisk, en stor rocka mm vid revet precis nedanför hotellet. Enkel men god frukost. Både vi vuxna och barnen trivdes väldigt bra. Fint solnedgångsläge! Det var lätt att gå till de närbelägna restaurangerna, och vi promenerade även ner till Punta sud en dag. Lätt att haffa bussen eller en taxi om man ville åka till centro. Vi kommer gärna tillbaka!
