Casa Cora

This was a wonderful property that was well located for my yoga retreat. My room on the 3rd floor/roof was mostly quiet, with hot water, a beautiful bathroom, comfortable bed and great AC. I enjoyed having the small pool to cool off in, when the afternoon was hot and my wifi worked well. I did not see any front desk people but the housekeepers were friendly. I really enjoyed having a key pad and not having to worry about carrying a key around.

The things I didn't like were minor and addressed. They were having issues with their door/gate when I first arrived, and it was very difficult to get in or out. Thankfully, that was resolved by the second day. There were some very noisy/rude guests who were in the hot tub outside my door. The next night they were much quieter, however it was a bit frustrating that I could not get any help with it, as it was happening. The only other thing I would say is this is not a beach front hotel. It is a 10 minute walk to the beach. That was not an issue for me and I loved being out of the bustle of the little town.

It was located on a dirt road

Perfect location just steps off the main strip which meant it was quiet but easy to walk everywhere. It feels like a safe area and the facilities were clean. We would stay again.

We stayed for 4 nights and were a bit surprised that our room didn't get cleaned at all during our stay mostly because there's just a lot of sand. It would have been nice if there was a broom so we could sweep up our own sand in our room. Also, there's no one at reception even during reception hours so if that is something you like, it doesn't seem to happen here. We did chat with the cleaner on our last day, and she let us leave our bags an hour after checkout in our room but she left our room unlocked with the door open so anyone could have gone in and taken our bags.

Great place! The rooms are nice, clean, and provide a comfortable stay! The pools and outdoor seating areas are an added bonus! Free drinking water available. Thank you very much.
