Great location! Great staff. Very welcoming and warm.

The location was particularly good for quiet privacy. In a city filled with overpriced hotels with a lot of hype, this was a bargain. The staff was very friendly, though a little short on information for activities: they knew only about those that they got a percentage on. The beach and good restaurants were all within walking distance.

Some of the maintenance of the property has been neglected. While the pool was in great condition, the patio fountain was a mess and had someone working on it late into the night. Much of the paint is peeling. There are wiring problems with the lights and the fans. The free access on the TV is down to one channel and they no longer have remote controls.

Excellent value for a budget traveller. AIthough an older hotel, our room was spacious and clean, with a built in closet and desk or table Window looking into the courtyard could be opened for fresh air. Celing fan but no AC which didn't bother me. Guests were mostly Mexican. Staff super friendly but no English so we used a translate app There is a swimming pool. The beach is less than a block. Owner was around, very down to earth. He acknowledged the place needed a 'tune up'

Only 1 inadequate light in the room No towel rack in the bathroom. It's a walk-up building but luckily we travel light Courtyard needed tending. No restaurants immediately near by.

The position was nice close to the beaches, and the room with direct access to the swimming pool.

Our experience Is not very positive (maybe just an exception because we arrived on the evening of 31 December). At the reception there was a very young lady very unfriendly and not helpful. It was not possible to pay with the credit card for some issues with the card machine. The room didn't even have any towel at all. We asked for that and the lady answered "we don't have any". After insisting, she gave us two dirty towels that were clearly used to clean paint. Luckily after midnight, a new guy arrived at the reception that was helpful and provided towels. No hot water in the rooms.

Fantastic location close to the beach, cafes, grocery store, the best taco stands. Our room was very comfortable.
