Hotel San Jose

Excellent Location

This hotel needs a total renovation, broken tiles all over. What goes for a restaraunt is in the path of reception. The staff was not accommodating for the handicap, my feet were in the room while on the toilet ( bathrooms were smaller than my walk in shower). Had I not asked a guest for assistance with my luggage, if not my bags would still be on the curb. I checked out on March 22nd, was booked for 29 nights ( they charged me for 5 ). Moved to another Hotel.

Magnificent location. Our room had very old furniture but clean enough.

I never give such low ratings. I do not expect luxuries at this price, just a minimum, which was unfortunately not met. The bathroom had black mold all around, which is known to be bad for the health. The room also had an ants plague and they would get into food even if it was properly packaged, inside bags, inside a backpack, that was placed hanged high, far from the floor and window. I cannot oversee these two high impact factors and for that reason can not rate it any higher. Very unmotivated staff. Right next to a church that rings the bells EVERY 15 MINUTES ALL DAY AND SPECIALLY ALL NIGHT LONG NONSTOP!

The room was completely different from what I reserved. Also it was very dirty and the entrance of the hotel is in a “restaurant”
