Escondite Pacifico

This hostel was absolutely a gift! The room was super big and the beds were very comfy. The kitchen was very cozy and there is a lot of space to relax. With an amazing view of the ocean, this hostel made my really happy.

The walk to the surfer spot is only 15 minutes and it’s a very nice walk on the beach.

straight at the beach. big room (the private one). friendly staff and host. nice relaxing atmosphere. kitchen with a big fridge to store your things. there is pizza night with great pizza 3x per week. The other days there is no food or drinks available but there are other restaurants or you can cook for your self. the beginnersbay to surf is a good 20-30 min. walk from Escondite but therefor the market is kind of close.

i would have liked a hammok to relax in but that‘s just my taste. the sittingarea is very pretty but the sittingpilows could do with a replacment.

If you want a relatively quiet place ,with a little social mix every other day of the week during pizza night that isnt too loud and crazy, then come here! Absolutely lovely place, massive dorm room with multiple toilets and showers in the room, comfy beds, can hear the sound of the waves at night. The location is right on the beach. Very clean, beds extremely comfortable and made everyday, kitchen well equipped. I could have easily stayed here for weeks! Best location on Playa Guasacaste!

There weren't many working lockers (due to missing keys) i hope the owner will fix the locker situation soon. The pots and pans in the kitchen could use an upgrade, scrubbing those were an extra job!!

Really nice place on the beach. Very chilled vibe. Pizza night brings a crowd and a lovely atmosphere. Can walk to beginners bay in about 20 mins (may have to swim across the river though at high tide). Comfy room and nice little kitchen. The owner was very helpful.
