The direct access to the beach. The kind staff.

The kitchen is tiny and not well equipped. Not a very social place. Not close to the surf breaks. No supermarket (only a super expensive tienda) and no ATM nearby. Would have been interesting to get infos about that before the arrival (e.g, in the confirmation email or in the description of the place) BUT most of all: - No electricity in the dorm the first 2 days of my stay (had to go to the bathroom in the dark, no wifi, no fans). - Poor or no water storage so toilets don’t flush and you might not have a shower. The electricity problem, which was general in the area, was known before most of the people arrived. The least would have been to notify the customers prior their arrival and make a small commercial gesture for the inconvenience. But when we asked the owner for a reduction, he said no because it was a general problem everywhere and therefore not his fault. Very disappointing as the price for a dorm was not cheap and therefore you expect to get the services you paid for.

Great, spacey room, pizza night and beachtennis are a great gathering of locals and tourists.

Awesome vibe, perfect dorm room set up - all girls, mosquito nets, good bathroom and loads of space. Pizza nights are incredible, right on the beach, loads of comfy places to hang and perfect view of the sunset. Couldn't ask for more!

Arrival is a bit DIY - hard to find the place from the road, no info on little things like filling up water bottles, but these are such tiny things just as a heads up, not an actual problem... the place is honestly awesome

The place was cute and the price was great! Nice to be right on the beach. Staff were all helpful and we enjoyed the slack line and lounge area. Very clean and welcoming set up.

We felt it was a little far from the surf breaks, which are just across the river to the south and beginners bay - about a 20 minute walk carrying surf board etc. also, the shower could’ve use a head, as it was really just a tap - not so good and getting the sand off. One last thing, they don’t provide any drinking water which was a bit unfortunate seeing as the shop is down at the south end of the street. Altogether these are minor things, and for the price it was still good!
