The room was spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. It was an easy, short walk to the beach and was incredibly quiet and peaceful. The AC worked well, as did the hot water. The WiFi worked perfectly until the thunderstorm, at which stage it was off for more than 24 hours (to be expected on an island). It was excellent value for money.

These things weren't a problem for me but might be for other guests: the linen was perfectly clean but was worn and stained. There was no coffee machine, just a kettle that didn't work. The biggest problem I had was that the stairs are very badly designed and, in the massive thunderstorm, they became a literal waterfall. Despite my greatest care, I slipped and fell down the stairs because they were so flooded with water.

Clean and simple.

limited towels, limited blankets, and limited wifi. No cleaning. I strongly believe that if this place put more effort into customer service and improving staff and clean towels and sheets, it can be a great value for the money.

Spacious room

Owners decided to hire a construction crew to work 10 hours daily above me on the roof! The energy of this hotel was negative and offered nothing to compensate for ruining my ability to relax!

nice and peaceful area close to beach and punta coco 10 minutes drive by bike to center beach close to the hotel is keep clean from sea grass when there is any ( Stormy days)

the rooms were really large and had a nice finish. the bed was enormous and so comfortable. the aircon was cool and the showers were warm. the room was so amazing for the price!

perhaps the staff could have been a little more helpful / informative

New building, close to the beautifull beach, clean, space appartment - 2 levels, 2 toilets. huge kitchen!

In booking com info was the information about everyday cleaning-... finnaly no cleaning during our 3 days stay :-(

For the price you pay the room was okay as Isla Holbox is pretty expensive. But in hindsight we wish we had paid a bit more for a better place.

When we arrived they told us our room wasn't ready. Instead they put us in their sister hotel down the road... That was still being build. It was a noisy building site with no curtains in the room so the builders could see in. I complained and they put us back in the original hotel? So quite what the issue was I'm not sure. If I hadn't had said anything they would have left us in a poor room with no compensation. The main hotel had no power for most of our stay (common on the island). But what is not common on the island is the hotel had no generator as back up so we had no air con, lights or power for over 24 hours.
