This is a fun place to stay with a nod to its history as a Pharmacy. Rooms are done beautifully. Great location!

The entrance to the guest house is amazing - genuinely an old pharmacy complete with counter, glass cases and aged bottles with medicinal labels. My room gave onto the pedestrianised shopping street and had three window and balconies to look out from. There was also a lift for dealing with cases and a small but nice roof terrace.

Unlike a hotel, a staff member was only available intermittently - though he was prompt at answering WhatsApp messages, it would have been more reassuring to have had someone living in.

Property was a great location and Juan was very quick to assist with any queries, the room was stunning the only thing I would add is more amenities such as tissues / shampoo and conditioner in bathroom other then that I would absolutely stay again

We had a wonderful stay at this guesthouse in Coimbra. Juan (from the Guesthouse team) was easy to chat with and provided good information on how to get from the train station to the Guesthouse. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was excellent for walking all around Coimbra. Overall a very enjoyable experience and I would happily stay here again when visiting Coimbra.
