HOTEL POSADA DEL CORTEZ

Great location, a short walk away from the Aguila bus terminal and the malecon in downtown La Paz. Facilities were basic but clean. Good value for money. Staff were pleasant though only conversant in Spanish. I appreciate that there was drinkable water provided near the reception too. Wifi works decently well in our room as well.

Water pressure in the shower could be stronger.

Location is the best, and staff are very keen to help and make your stay comfy

Location was great

The bed was hard and small,double only. Everything was very old and worn but it was clean. Very noisy, every little sound carries through the central common area, as people come and go.There was a weird little thing in the wall that clicked every hour, kept waking me up, and the mini fridge was irritating. A/C worked well. In the morning around 600am the older man at the front desk was trying to cough his lung out for an hour. Unfortunately we didn't get any sleep, got up early and left. Might be great if you are gonna go out and party and come back to pass out for a bit.

The location is great! It’s not fancy but the staff were nice. Good price and location

The hotel is located centrally, close to the beach, Malecon, marina, restaurants, so if you are in La Paz without a car this is great. The staff were very friendly. The price and quality ratio compared to other available accommodation in La Paz is quite high.

If you will stay for a night or two it is ok. However, the rooms, although have space, did not have cupboards, the windows are faced towards inward courtyard, so it can be noisy or in need of air. So for longer stay it is not practical. Our bathroom had a disinfecting agent which had pretty strong smell that permeated the room as well.
