The foam was okay, though the duvet looked overused.

I saw mosquitoes in the room. The associated breakfast was too meagre, and unfortunately, I couldn't pay for extra.

Neet and perfect

Location was close to my place of business, staff were nice, polite and willing to assist. Zainab at the front desk when I came in , was excellent and graciously resolved my payment issues. I watched the champions league in room and this is a huge plus to them

Whenever I come to Nigeria I stay at Presken. Its funny because no matter what area I go to, I search "Presken @ location". Its good because i know that I will get above average in terms of value for money, staff and location. Since i have stayed in a few different preskens over the few years, i feel invested in their succeas and am a little bit critical when they dont reflect the culture of their colleagues at other branches. I'll explain this in the next section

One thing that ive noticed is that front desk are A* but the other sections let them down. Particularly the bar and restaurant. Not only on this one, the last one I stayed at (i won't name because that one needs to get a total overhaul) The restaurant and bar staff have zero sense of inertia and treat theor jobs like as if they're in a youth club or community centre. They dont care about serving customers nor customer satisfaction and its like they dont want you to disturb them cos they're having a good old talk, "gisting" amd getting paid to hang out. I know EXACTLY what needs to be done but I'm gonna keep ot to myself cos I'm not getting paid for this! Secondly the gateman said he washed my car and it was even filthier than when I got in. The roof of my car wasn't touched and was dusty... he lifted my windscreen wipers to pretend as if he washed it to get a tip. This is dishonest. When I called him out he laughed and said, "okay my oga sorry but I fit wash am if you want". This makes me worry about the honesty of the other staff, particularly since i feel secure in the Presken brand. Once trust is gone... I dont want to stay here. Thirdly the i asked for an iron to quickly iron my wrinkled top because it didn't look as sharp as I would've liked it to be. They said we cant give tou an iron, but there's a laundry service. Fair enough. BUT every other hotel would've given you the option and not hold your shirt hostage to laundry charges. And also I dont really care about the money, but this country ia SO SLOW, I would've got my short back a month later. I needed to iron and bounce. I didn't have time for all that crap. Someone comes, takes it, goes away, goes to sleep, wakes up, cools, has a shower, gets dresses, remembered to iron my top and then 5 days later my shirt arrives at the door while I'm back in America. Presken needs to do better.
