Hotel Keistad

We stayed for four nights which is longer than an average stay in Amersfoort. We had expected to take a day trip to Utrecht but in the end there was too much to do in the old town. This hotel is in a great spot for sitting and joining in with the crowd in the main tower square for evening drinks. It is a very good situation to the rest of the town's beautiful buildings to wander around . The room was very comfortable for the price and had a fridge, which is often unusual in budget hotels. There was renovation in other rooms, but this didn't affect us . A very comfortable and enjoyable stay

The view was amazing

The location was great.

When we arrived we had to ring a bell . Then a man came from another shop came to assist with our checkin. The hotel was very small. Only our luggage and one person would fit in the elevator. (4ppl in our party). We had to hold the button to our floor. Otherwise, it would not go. Our beds in our room were very narrow and small and could feel the springs of the mattress while sleeping. Shower was difficult to get in and had several cracks that was held by tape. Our TV did not work and electricity went out at night .

Location was right in the square by bell tower. Lots of life and perfect location!

They overcharged me when I paid on site and would not charge me the booking price… this was not ok as it was in Canadian dollars but they charged same amount but in euros which almost doubled the price for me…

Located in the middle of the city over looking a bustling terrace area with bars and restaurants. It was still quiet on an evening so sleep was easy. The staff were super helpful and really accommodating, they went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. I will use this hotel again
