Te Puia Hot Springs Hotel

Historic hotel.

There were no hooks to hang things in the bathroom and no towel rail so the towels ended up on the floor. It was noisy and the walls were very thin.

Nothing. Not as advertised. Not good

Access to rooms for people with poor mobility is via a lot of stairs. Hot spring pool is basically a trough that cant be accessed by people that have limited mobility

Good Location

We had to checkout early morning, which was around 5 a.m., to view sunrise. Had to do so in complete darkness. "No power supply." Don't know why, but there was no power. Also, there was mold in the room. Small but was there..

Had wheelchair so difficult carrying mum and chair up and down stairs

Nice facility and the hot spring pool was great o

Hard to get the door to lock at 11 pm at night after a couple of drinks in the public bar. Locking a door should not be that difficult.

Grand old pub.

Beds were a bit soft and old.

i liked the staff who were available with any questions that I had, although the office was locked, they were at the back in a seating area.

would have liked a fridge in the room, and a sink.
