Fare Om

Inexpensive hostel accommodation. Good location on the island. Good spacing between the single beds. Mosquito netting over each bed. Clothes line in the courtyard to dry clothes.

Mattress had no support and sagged. Shower had low water pressure and there was no hot water in the mornings. Bathroom lighting was dim and had many mosquitos.

The host was amazingly kind and willing to help with anything needed.

Located near Cook and Opunohu bay, friendly environment, jazz evening, moscito nets and fans, option to arrange a massage.

Dorm rooms are located in a separate building, with basic and not very clean kitchen and bathroom.

My stay at the Fare Om was lovely. The staff was kind, everything was clean and I appreciated to experience the authentic and chill polynesian style. Maud is a very kind host, she offered me a drive when I needed and she remembered for small staff even how I'm drinking my coffee:) This hostel definitely worth of money!

Very well equiped kitchen, bike rental. I had once dinner bufet from Isa and it was very tasty. Isa and Maud are great.

Dorms are not in the main building, but little bit down the street. I was very suprised for that. Stuffy sink in the bathroom for the whole week.

Clean, spacious, comfortable

All good. A solid stay.

The value was great and the house was very unique, we were actually disappointed to have not stayed longer there.

They have run out of wifi data in the dorms and the mobile data is pretty bad at that location as well
