AV Suites

An excellent hotel with wonderful staff—everyone is so polite and friendly. The hotel is very clean, and the rooms have a pleasant scent. The view from our room was stunning, and in the morning, you can hear birds singing.

Some people might not like the steep walk up to the hotel, but we saw it as a nice little workout.

Booked 2 nights at the AV Suites and it did not disappoint. The resort is only a 10 min trike ride away from White Beach. We loved the view and the place is so quiet plus the staff led by Mel is very nice. Gober our trike driver, was great and always on time. The rooms are spacious, pool was refreshing and the food was always fresh and cooked to order. Beware though to get up to the reception is steady climb up some stairs so you will get a work out. We will be back!

There are so many great things about AV Suites. The staff was great! Well trained but not robots. Very friendly and personable. They made us feel very welcome and really seem to take pride in the resort. First the views are incredible and stunning. Standing on the balcony of our room was amazing. We stayed for 9 days and the room was big enough for us. We didnt feel cramped up on the 1 day it rained. There are a few things I wish that I had known before we stayed there. Maybe other reviews mentioned it but I will stress that there are stairs. :) Blessed with stairs. I loved it it was like a daily workout, however, some people may not be so happy about it. Also, I wish I hadnt rented a car. The parking was a bit challenging. The driveway is a little scary to drive up because its super steep. When I go back..and I will go back.. I will just get a driver to the hotel and take Toktok or trikes for my transportation. That is probably the cheapest and easiest solution. I just want to say that the stairs and parking had little effect on our stay, but it is something I think people should know about. If you are not familiar with the area you should know that Aninuan beach is well within walking distance. Its not obvious, but there is a little entrance just a few hundred feet from AV Suites driveway on the other side of the road. I would recommend going there its great and the water is fairly shallow. There are some great local places to eat in Puerto Galera and on White Beach.

The rooms are spacious, the staff are all very very nice. The view, pools and poolside bar are all very make for a beautiful setting. Note they do require a 2,000p deposit, but had no issue getting it refunded

The driveway up is pretty steep and a bit scarry if you are riding a motorbike or need to walk. Once you do it a couple times, its gets easier.

The location was so beautiful, and the property was amazing and very comfortable. The space in the room was massive. The people were so friendly.

Good ambiene and service. Would be nice to have more options when it comes to food. Still a good and relaxing stay.

Nice view and big room windows

No hot water. The management was already aware of this but seems it can't solve this problem. There was also hardly any water pressure so showering was almost impossible during the two days. Difficult to use the hairdryer. The dryer should be fixed on the wall instead of just place it in the bathroom. The deposit box was very small and not fixed anywhere. Didn't serve the actual purpose and valuables always had to be taken with you when you left the room. Very few amenities were available in the bathroom. Apart from shower gel and hair shampoo, which had the consistency like water, there were only two toothbrushes available and not even a hand soap. Hotel restaurant with very limited opening hours and close during lunchtime. This hotel can't provide even close a 5-star standard.
