Das Hotel liegt in einem historischen Gebäude der Festungsstadt, also vom Gebäude her etwas ganz besonderes. Sehr gute Lage unmittelbar vor der historischen Innenstadt. Parkplätze vor der Tür (begrenzte Anzahl).

Die ausgewiesenen fünf Sterne können meiner Ansicht nach keiner internationalen Klassifikation zu Grunde liegen. Wenn man von einem Qualitätsstandard eines 3-Sterne-Hotels ausgeht, wird man eher positiv überrascht sein. Das Frühstück ist in der Nebensaison eher eine Enttäuschung (Mai/Juni); es gibt nur eine sehr reduzierte Form: Heißgetränke und ein paar Kleinigkeiten und einen Toast mit Spiegelei aus der Küche. Die Mansardenzimmer im obersten Stock im Sommer eher meiden, da nur eine sehr laute und wenig effiziente Klimaanlage zur Verfügung steht.

Un lieu exceptionnel, le bâtiment est magnifiquement rénové. On est en plein centre de l'histoire. La court est superbe. Le personnel au top. Un vrai plaisir :)
