MYRoom is super clean & value for money
GBMessages on Whatsapp in advance made check-in and finding the property very easy. Staff were friendly and very easy to get hold of if needed. Location great if you want to see the real KK, which we did. Property clean and had bottled water which was very helpful.

GBCheap and cheerful stay in the city. The room is very central, walking distance or short grab ride to the main malls and ferry port to get to the islands. Any issues we raised via whatsapp were resolved immediately. The owner is friendly via whatsapp and provided clear instructions for finding the place. There's a laundromat in the same block which is handy although there is no drying line in the room. Overall, I'd recommend if on a budget.
The location is not inviting, it's down an alley, up 2 flights of non-air conditioned stairs. The bed and room is quite small with minimal storage for clothes. The shower is not well ventilated, that and the bathroom (separate rooms) both had a bad smell. The entrance hallway also smelled bad. You have to ask for things to be fixed or cleaned, the rooms don't appear to have standard checks in place before or during the stay. Also, I was asked several times to leave a 10 star review which is wildly high. It's not a bad place to stay but not exceptional.
