Aurinko Bungalows

Su ubicación es perfecta, cerca de la plaza y la playa, su alberca pequeña pero se antoja bastante bañarse en ella, sus instalaciones muy bonitas, limpias y completas. Su personal muy amable y atento en todo momento. ¡Sin duda regresaría, lo recomiendo bastante!

Location

We have stayed at Aurinko collectively over 20 times in the last 15 or so years. It has gotten more expensive as have most places in Sayulita, but feel it has become less worth the money over time. I stayed at another hotel in January that was more affordable, much nicer & just as close to the beach. We opted to stay at Aurinko this trip for my besties 50th birthday for nostalgic reasons, but it was a hassle from check in. We let them know that our flight arrived early, but didn’t expect a room to be ready & we’re prepared to drop our luggage & head to the beach. I gave them our name, reservation number & let them know that we had an 11 year old with us that was not on the reservation, but were willing to pay extra for him if necessary. The staff told us it was no problem & to come back at check in. When we got back, I was told that the room I had booked was unavailable due to the child. When pressed & after calling the boss, which took almost an hour, we were given another room with twin beds, we had booked the queen room I had payed them through PayPal months earlier for. The 1st night the 11 year old wanted to sleep in the hammock instead of sharing a twin with his mom which was fine until about 3 am when he was eaten alive by some type of bug. Unfortunately, they were in the bedroom as well & me & my friend were also eaten up. Like I said, we had stayed there before & this had never been an issue. I just don’t feel that Aurinko has the same charm or care it had in the past & will not stay again in the future.

Beautiful little place . So clean , comfortable, staff were so friendly

It was just a bit difficult to find at first . We walked past it 2x before we saw the little sign at the door
