Hotell Valsaren

Very friendly staff. Cozy stay. Thanks for the fried eggs and bacon every morning... ;-)

All is fine in general. A few tiny suggestions: * Not the hotel's fault, but the room seemed too cold for my taste, I was told that in this "middle period" the radiators don't get too much heat from the central point. OK. Maybe you could get a few small standalone heaters for us "cold people". :-) * The hotel description says: "A free sandwich, fruit and coffee are provided every evening. " it seems that is actually not true. The staff said they cannot change the hotel description on Booking? * A small suggestion: maybe add something sweet to the breakfast? A piece of pastry, a cookie? ;-)

They allowed me to check in earlier by leaving the key, it's very nice of them, and I didn't even ask. I liked the desk in the room and the shower products. The location is 10-15 mins of walk from the city centre, but I liked the old industrial area with the local bakery, hamburger restaurant, etc. Also, the guy caring for the hotel was extremely nice and nicer than in many upscale chains. And the breakfast was delicious: good bread and stuffings and the guy made fresh scrambled eggs with a good portion of bacon. The lobby has a coffee machine, vending machine, couches area, tables area, etc. Also, the outdoor space is very cosy. I believe it's a very good option if you need a nice shelter and breakfast not far away from the city centre.

The bed and pillow were not to my taste. Also, I had to turn off the noisy minifridge near my ear for the night.

Nice quiet location. Very welcoming and helpful staff.

Good beds, clean place. The air conditioning worked. Easily reachable by car, and free parking.

The air conditioning was old and noisy, and the breakfast was quite simple.

No restaurant in the hotel or even nearby

God place situated a little outside of town center, but still quite close, in walking distance. Nice and Quite, Breakfast basic, but OK. Very nice with fresh Eggs/omelets after your choise and bacon if you like.

A better selection of tv channels on the rooms, and stable Wifi. But the place is still quite new, and they owner say there are working on these isues.
